Hi fellow NZ filer
I didn't expedite but 2 days ago saw an update that my EAD card is now being produced, which is within the timeline they advised me initially. According to common knowledge here hopefully I'll get it in 2 weeks or so. Hope that helps!
Hello fellow Kiwi... Nice, congratz to you on getting your EAD card and thank you for answering. Hopefully I hear some news too very soon. I miss NZ and can’t wait to fly back to our country for a visit. I so miss everything even the food Lol

After hearing nothing at all about my i-485 for 5 months since applying back in March... I just checked the dhs site and it says “Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview” since April 18, but they finally just updated my case today. I know it doesn’t mean much but I’m just glad to see something else other than “Case received”.

Any March 2018 filers who hasn’t expidited still waiting on their EAD card 🙋♀️?

Quick question to you guys: I got my I-131 accepted and received I-797 notice acceptance of this petition about month ago. In the notice it was written that I will receive Travel Document in a seperate mail with the validity dates and travel conditions, although I didnt receive nothing since then. Today I read the notice one more time and indeed I found the validity dates on the notice. Now I am wondering if the notice I first received is my travel document or should I expect another notice. To make it clear- I got EAD accepted earlier and received Work Permit card but it has a notice that it is only valid for work not for travel (or sth
like that). I am not sure if I should call them about it or what, maybe the I-797 is the document that will allow me to go abroad and come back?
We’re in the same shoe. My I-131 only was approved last month and I did receive the I-797 too but now it is day 35 and I haven’t received the actual travel document and I was wondering the same also if maybe the I-797 is also the travel document?

Hello...
I have a question for those of you who got the update on their case: “Your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview”... Did you get an email telling you about this update or does it just show up when you log in to check on your I-485?
Thank you

Hi there. The exact same thing happened to me and that is why today I got approved for my i-131 but the i-765 will probably be approved another time (whenever that may be) instead of getting the combo card, but yes, I just sent back the green letter, a photocopy of the NOA rejection and I basically just filled out a new i-765 form with new passport photos and supporting evidence (They never did send back all that stuff with the rejection letter 🙄) I even made a photocopy of the approval NOA for my pending i-485 and it was accepted (I also attached a handwritten note telling them that I did send the correct fee because I filed it together with i-485 and i-131. I would advise you to redo this and send it back asap. Hope this helped.

Nice! I saw people on here that had only their EAD approved but received the combo card, so I am pretty positive that you will get both AP and EAD too!
Thank you for replying. I really hope so 👍😊

Good Morning everyone 😊
So I woke up this morning and received an email saying that my travel document was approved but I didn’t get an update on my i-765. Do you guys think I will get a combo card? I did file both at the same time. Can anyone tell me if they got the same update and received the combo please. Thank you

Is that something good if it is duplicated? The same thing happened to me yesterday and I just thought there was a glitch in the system but it is still duplicated today

Don’t stress about the update. I called following up an expedited application and they told me they had received my biometrics on the same day I completed them, however they are not updated on the online system.
That gives me a bit of comfort to read that and I really hope that’s the same for me too. I did my biometrics on April 10 and still no update online. I guess not every step is updated on their website

It went to Ready to Schedule Interview a few weeks later. But my office is just over a year behind so I won't expect an interview until next February. lol
Nope Still no EAD but its not 5 months since filing for me for a few weeks. I just figure things will come when they come and not a moment sooner. After doing K-1 fiance last year I have learnt the art of patience. lol
@pajobra Oh ok nice! I prefer that than the unknown Lol Goodluck to you

I am a January filer and mine never updated to completed after biometrics on either tracker old or new.
Have you had any other status change since your biometrics appointment?

Going on 3 weeks now since biometrics and still no fingerprint review completed, interestingly. It's taken most people here about a week after their appointment, huh? Hoping it comes through soon as my husband is hoping for job offers in the near future (and expedition of the EAD, fingers crossed!).
Wow, me too. Smh. I wonder what the hold up is?

Guys,
Yesterday I received rejection notices from USCIS in the mail for my 2 daughter's I-131 and I-765. They said the amount paid was incorrect and requested that I submit it again with the correct amount.
At first I was shocked and angry, I paid $750 each for their I-485 filing concurrently with I-131 and I-765 and I included copies of the money order used in the payment. Then I checked online and realized that I will have to resend it and include the I-797C receipt notices of the monies paid for I--485.
But I had submitted everything at a go the first time so I wondered why they did not realize what the monies were for. Anyway this morning i resubmitted it and included the copies of the I-797C I received.
Has anyone experienced something like this?
Yes, I had a similar experience. My i-765 was rejected for insufficient funds. Even though I filed it together with my i-485 & i-131. So it was their mistake. I resubmitted my i-765 the next day with the green letter on top. They received it within 3 days and I got the text and email 4 days later that it has been accepted. Now I have to go for another biometrics appointment next week for the i-765.
Good Luck, hopefully yours will be accepted this time

So.. I woke up this morning with two emails from the DHS website saying "we have taken action on your case" for my I-485 and EAD. I refreshed the app cause its easier and now it says "fingerprint review was completed"
I guess that doesn't mean a LOT.. more waiting!
Hi, how many days after your Biometrics appointment did it take till you got the ‘fingerprint review was completed’

I received the same letter on the day of biometrics (4/9/18). I did not submit the I-693 because it expires after one year.
Yup! Same reason I didn’t submit the i-693. I’m just waiting to do it right before I get the interview date.

March 22: Cheque was cashed
March 23: NOA for i-765 (Rejected due to insufficient fee)
March 26: Received NOA hardcopy for both i-485 & i-131
March 27: Resubmitted i-765 (Their mistake, I did not have to pay fee for i-765
March 29: i-765 Received and signed by J. Chyba
March 30: Received Biometrics letter
April 6: Received NOA hardcopy for i-765 in the mail
April 10: Went to Biometrics appointment
April 10: Received courtesy letter to bring i-693 to the interview

So I went to my Biometrics yesterday. Got home and received a courtesy letter. Has anyone else received this? My i-485 pkt was received by uscis on March 1st. The courtesy letter basically just tells me that I will need to bring my i-693 to the interview (whenever that will be) just wondering if anyone else got this courtesy letter too
