I already had one to begin with. He's supposed to be on top of it. They have no control over how USCIS works. Thanks for the wishes!

That's correct. April 27th and no movement so far. I even called the office 2 weeks ago. No updates whatsoever.

csc have just changed processing time 19.5 to 25 months
True. It's become so volatile you can't predict anything. But at least it's back to March for submitting a case inquiry. Thanks for the update!

My PD is April 26, 2017, with CSC. haven't approved yet. but they are already approving May. 🤔
Exactly what I was thinking. There is no chronological flow to their system. But I've also seen April 17 approved just last week. So we gotta hang in there.

Just received an email from USCIS this morning:
case has been approved
pd: 18May 2017
approval date: 25 Feb 2019
now, waiting to receive approval notice (NOA2) in mail. Thank god it’s done, such a relief.
Congrats! Such a long journey. Where was your service center ? And your status? Green card holder?

Hi, I wanted to know the implication of this movement for us? My PD is 2017 April 5th. Good luck for your NOA2 may it come soon. We received ours on Dec 20. NVC says they received it from USCIS but are yet to enter it into their system.
Hi there,
Your PD was April 5th, 2017 and you got approved in Dec 2018? Mine is April 27th, 2017 and still not approved.

I think it also depends on your nationality. Let's say there are 1000 ppl from your country applied before you, then you would have to wait to be the 1001. Might take awhile but well, we've already been waiting for almost 2 years, what else we can do? 😢
Wait some more I guess.
There is a per country cap for the countries with most immigrants but I thought USCIS processed cases based upon the priority dates and status of the petitioner (PR or Citizen). Couldn't find anything on the web pertaining to this.

I saw some people reported they got approved, their PD was May 2017. Cali center.
1 from vietnam, May 081 from somewhere I don't remember, May 16th
My PD is 05/22, I'm really hoping that I will have good news by the end of this month or early next month!Yes. My PD is April 27th, CSC, but I have heard May filers getting approval. Don't know why they skip some cases.

My PD is Nov 14, 2017
haven't yet received the approval letter yet...it's been more than a year....I really want to check what's the normal process time for I-130 to be approved. I assumed this is the previous step before I can submit I-485 once the PD is current, right?
But I don't know how to check which process service center is for my case. any help?
Updated uscis estimate says 19 - 24.5 months just to get approved.

Mine is the 27th. I've heard someone on Facebook said they got approved as well, their PD is April 17. So I'm hoping we will hear from USCIS in Feb the latest.

Yes..It took 20 months and 9 days (1 yr 8 months) to get i130 approvel from USCIS. While we are applying in 2017 march the whole process was 18 months.. now the current trend looks like it will take 26 months ie 2yrs 2 month to complete the process
Our PD is April 27, 2017 but no update so far. Happy to hear your progress!

Its taking an average of 20 months (between 19-22 months) for approvals. Over two years for the whole process to getting the visa for F2A.
Thanks for the update guys!
