Can anyone tell me with experience that after waiting so long for ssn to arrive and it does not, when I go to the local office, the social security numbers can be given to me the same day awaiting the posting of the card?

You have to go and apply in person. I had a same experience as yours so i had to go to their office to apply. And i was told to expect it within 2 weeks and i received it on the 6th day actually.

Technically they can work without the SSN. But their employer may not want to do so - and they cannot actually be paid yet - until they have the SSN.

The worse thing is that I can't apply for driving license in FL without the ssn and my kind of job must be with license.

Can someone tell me if getting new SSN process has changed? I apply for SSN through my DS 260 application and is more than 3 weeks now no SSN mailed to me but I have got my green card.

I called SSN office to find out how to get my SSN, I was told I need to contact Homeland security. Few hours later, I had a call back from SSN office with automated message saying, that is a social security fraud and ask me to press 1 to speak to Officer. As soon as i press 1, the line cut off. Can anyone tell me why I receive call back from them with such words of fraud?

Can anyone tell me what I need to get my SSN. Also can i go for driving license test without an SSN?

Does the CEAC site shows Issued? If not is still in administrative processing and you need to wait. 

Can anyone tell me if after an error visa is re- issued, will it change from administrative processing the second time to issued, for me to know  that a new visa has been issued?

I have not. The status on line change from Issue to administrative processing. I was waiting for it to change to issued and also receive message that is ready.

Have you such experience before where by, the issue was resolve by the petitioner? I called several times and on the 11th of this month, it change to admin processing. Have you had such experience or knows someone who does? I need someone who had experience or know who had such issue advice.

Can anyone in Ghana who had an experience or know anyone in Ghana who's visa has an error and how long it takes for it to be re-issued?
