I've dealt with both types, and I'll tell you right now I trust the attorney who looked up the laws and verified what I told her, and got as excited as I was and said, "yeah, you are right, we can use this in your case."   over the first attorney who told me it wasn't possible and to not go that route. (And it was something Sandra corrected me and advised me on in the first place!) 

There are professionals who do not like people telling them how to do their jobs and it’s understandable. At the end of the day as consumers we have choices.

Some attorneys  advise not to leave the country while adjustment is pending because there is a risk of not being allow back into the country. That being said, you can definitely apply for the AP. I don’t understand why he doesn’t want to fill it if you are paying him. I assumed that you are paying.

Did you sent your translated birth certificate? Because if you did I mean they will know where you come from. Don’t beat yourself up. They might send it back if it is incomplete. You will have the chance to fix it and send it back. It is frustrating because we want things to be resolved fast but we  have to be patient and hopeful. The most important thing is that you are alive so everything else has a solution.

I used that guide and it made my process smooth. It helped me with everything even the affidavits. I highly recommend it.

It is better if they can do it on the computer some handwrite are not that clear.  All of them need to be notarized so the immigration officer knows that those affidavits are legit. Also, make  sure they include their address and phone numbers.

He said that i could travel as many times i wanted with the card but NEVER leave the Us with a expired card. Never a problem traveling and always same procedure at the airport.

Next month it will be 14 months since I sent my vawa. No RFE so far. I filed my I485 and I765 last month. I just got the receipts and fee waived. For future fillers I didn’t send any supporting documentation for I912 I just explained that I am out of work and that’s why I couldn’t pay the fee.

According to other people in this site now you just got to wait until they send your GC appointment.

You have a complex case. I don’t think that anyone here can tell you how your case will get affected. I mean if you are applying  for vawa but you have some domestic violence charges on you.Summary offenses are very minor so I think everything will be on the hands of the adjuster and the weight of your case. PM Sandra she can better answer your questions. I know is scary to have your life depending on vawa  approval but don’t lose hope. Think positive.

If I were you I wouldn’t have mentioned  in the affidavit. No having sex is not a form of abuse as far as I know. You should have only write about the abuse you suffered. In order to get an annulment both  have to agree.

Your friend should call to confirm that in fact his/her card has been denied or cancelled.  Uscis website seems to be mess up lately. Sometimes the new website is showing a different message than the old website is just all crazy.

Vawa approval is not just about the evaluation, it's about all proof submitted along with I-360.But of course if the person will submit just an awful evaluation the case for sure will be denied. IIf anyone here wants to hear my opinion about the chances of approval then submit all proof, do not send me one single proof and come here to bash me. I am here helping survivors of domestic violence for 11 years I handled over 6.000 VAWA cases and NEVER EVER HAD A SINGLE ONE DENIED ad 40% of them were/are members of visa journey.

Hi guys, my I360 has been pending since March 30 2017 and I received the prima facie. I would like to send the I485 and I765 because I need to be able to drive and it seems that the I360 will be taking longer. Any advice about what should I do? Thanks in advance.
