Hey guys
Did anyone experience this:
I had a combo interview exactly a month ago. Both cases(N400, I-751 were approved on the same day. Online status for i-751 changed to ''New card is being produced"; The N400 changed to " Oath Ceremony will be scheduled (We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt). 2 days later they send me an approval letter. But, unfortunately,as of today, I haven't received anything else from USCIS.Just curious if this is normal?
Thanks

Good afternoon guys.
I had my N-400 interview today. She decided to conduct the I-751, as well, right after the N-400 for which I passed civic and English test.
I went with my wife but officer didn't even bather to interview or see her for the I-751. So, IO proceed both interviews just with me while my wife was in the waiting room. She asked evidences of our marriage bona fide, and I handed her lots of papers. Before, I left, she told me that she is going to approved both cases today. On my way home, I received a text messages stating that my ''card is being produce''. One hour later I received a notification that my N-400 is approved and my Oath Ceremony will be scheduled.
Good Luck Everyone.

Congrat.
How was your interview. Are you still waiting to get approved for both N400/ and I-751.
We are facing the same situation too. Our N-400 interview is coming soon but still no word for the I-751.
Thanks

From what I've heard from those who have gotten RFEs is the letter generally asks for just additional evidence. This person voluntarily chose to use social media proofs. By the way are n400 filers getting 18 month extension letters as well? Hubby already got a stamp for 1 year in April.

Our N400 and ROC are still pending. No 18 month extension so far. But we do have an interview coming up soon for the N400.

Received this email from my local office in response to my I-751 inquiry I submitted back in April before the May transfer to Nebraska. It took them 4 months to come up with an answer. Now, I don't know what to believe. My N-400 interview is scheduled at the end of this month. Do you guys think that this means that my case is being transfer again from Nebraska to my local office for the purpose of a Combo interview?
below is the email.
" Dear .........
On 04/18/2018, you or the designated representative shown below, contacted us about your case. Some of the key information given to us at that time was the following:
The status of this service request is:
On 04/18/2018, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I751 (Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence), to request the current status of your case. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.
What We Found:
Our records indicate that your case/file is in transit to our office. Once received, it will be reviewed and you updated regarding the status of your case. Please allow at least 45-60 days for this process.
What You Can Do:
If you have not heard from us after 60 days, please contact us again at the number provided below. Or, you are free to schedule an Info Pass appointment with your local office. As a courtesy, we have enclosed information on how to schedule an Info Pass appointment with your local office. You can schedule an Info Pass appointment by accessing our website at www.uscis.gov. You should bring this letter with you to your Info Pass appointment.
We hope this information is helpful to you.

I think the ECD is not accurate. Mine is saying August 2019 although I have an interview in 2 weeks. It is just an estimation.

Hi
I haven't received the 18 month extension letter.
I am a N400 filer as well with a pending ROC. My N400 interview is scheduled for the End of this month. Just hope it will be a combo interview.

Thanks, badouba. I am in Seattle, they are really slow. I will be in Spain for 3 months starting end of September. I am pretty sure I will get called for the interview while in Spain. I can come back and hope it won't be an issue.
For the N-400 they will send you a notice a month before the interview. I think that's enough time to come back and attend the interview. You might even interview before end of September.
But If you travel before your interview scheduled, I think it is a good idea to sign up in the dhs website.
https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/users/sign_up?session_id=5ccc3eb2-f2d2-487e-9c78-044260f5da8e
This ensure that you will get an email notification in a timely manner and even print out the interview notice under the documents section.
Good Luck

So called USCIS today about my N400 Case Status situation. HE said that "you are eligible for interview, just waiting now." for whatever that meant.
This most likely means that you have been clear for an interview. Interviews can't be conducted if things like backgrounds checks, names check... are not completed. You are in line for an interview, when is it going to be scheduled? Well, all depends on your local field office. If you live in a big city chances are their are many N-400 cases waiting. let us hope that's not the case.
How fast officers in your local office perform their daily duties?
How many officers are cleared to conduct Naturalization interview?
Are they planning to conduct a combo interview, if you have a pending ROC?
These are the questions that determine how soon you are most likely going to be scheduled for an interview.
My interview is scheduled for the end of this month, but I live in a relatively small City, that is the reason why I haven't been waiting so long compare to other applicant living in bigger Cities.
I hope they will conduct a combo interview, if not they are just going to put my N-400 on hold.
Good Luck.

Thank you!
No, my interview letter mentioned nothing about ROC or bringing my husband, but I took him with me regardless, based on other people's experience.
Sure enough, when the officer called me, he wasn't aware yet that this would be a combo interview and told my husband to wait outside. At that point I mentioned my pending ROC and he congratulated me for being informed and thinking ahead
Awesome, that was smart of you.
Thank you,
I will definitely bring my wife with me and see if they will proceed with a Combo interview.

in many of the cases i am aware of (mine included), applying for N400 definitely pushed the ROC on the fast track. My ROC was moved to NBC (likely to be combined) in May, and I had the combo interview on July 10. GC arrived in the mail July 26 (why they even bothered to print it, I don't know), and my oath is on August 14. I could've still been waiting for the GC, and now I'm almost a citizen.
HI evapaula
Congrats,
I have received an interview letter for my N-400 but my ROC is still pending. The letter I received didn't mention anything pertaining to my I-751.
So, in your case, I would like to ask you if you knew you were gonna have a combo interview before ? I mean, did they let you know before that you will be having a joint interview?
Thank you.

Haven't been on here for a while. Anyone know if people who have already applied for n400 are seeing approvals on their ROCs?
I have a pending ROC. I filed back in February 2017. The last update I received was when it got transferred to Nebraska on May 3rd, 2018. So, no approval yet on my side.
I have already received an interview notice for my N-400, which will take place at the end of August. I just hope they do a joint interview because it looks like they can't approve the N-400 while my ROC is pending.
Good Luck.

Hi there, we have the same timeline, I got an interview notice 2 days ago for my N400. My ROC is still pending. I just hope that it is going to be a joint interview.
You should get an update soon because it look like that Cases are moving forward.

Adios! Good luck to everyone.
Thanks for venting with me.
funny thing is Iast night around 4pm I got a random call from USCIS for a survey.
And last night it didnt show me approved either on the app (still doesnt show!!)
So, on a whim I double checked my.uscis. and had to take a double take. It showed approved yesterday the 18th
Hang in there. They seem to be working on Feb 2017.. and remember over 90% get approved.
Congrats
Did you appy for the N-400?

We just got our interview scheduled for our pending 400 application. i-751 was transferred to NBC on May 3. I am guessing it will be a joint interview for i-751 and i-400. I am the U.S. citizen - should I assume that I will need to be available for the interview in case it's a joint interview? I am guessing more info will be shared in the interview notice...
Yes, you need to attend in case officers want to see you. It will be a joint interview.
Good luck

Hello guys,
I got my approval letter yesterday, It was updated online on uscis dhs website on 29th.
I didn’t get any text or email even I have subscribed for updates via text and email.
Addition to that my file was transferred to NSC on May 9th from CSC and I didn’t get that notice via post.
Maybe when I put notice not received inquiry, it could be that inquiry triggered approval.
But finally off the hook and good luck to all.
thanks guys for your love and support!
Congrats
Did you apply for the N400?
