I am now a citizen. Its the end of visajourney for me. This forum was great tool to know how things are going with fellow April filers and find some comfort in times of anxiety. Thanks you all!
I filled out a voter registration form at the oath ceremony. Does this mean I do not need to register my new status with DMV anymore? SSN is the other thing we need to take care of, anything else?

Every case is different, but in my case I did FP on Apr 24 and the status online changed when they put me under in-line for interview on May 9.

My application was placed in line for an interview on 08/01.. Still waiting for my interview letter
You're only in line for interview, so don't expect the letter yet. You should be able to receive another email notice that would tell you that they have scheduled you for an interview appointment and the notice has been sent in the mail. Some people never had any luck with case status notification, while others like me did. So it all depends on how reliable your online notifications. GOOD LUCK!

In-line for interview is when they find the right date and time for you to undergo testing and interview. Scheduled for interview is when they finally assigned a date and time and notice in the mail has been sent. In my case, I received 2 separate email notifications about it in two consecutive days. In some cases, there's quite a wait in between in-line and scheduled for interview.

I would say an Infopass will clear things up for the OP.

They would sometimes skip the FP part if your last Bio is less 1 year. I can't say I can prove it's why it was, but there are some filers here who were in the same boat like you.

LarryHK, it took me 2 mos from the time I had my interview till getting the ceremony date... then another 30 days from the physical letter in the mail until the day of the ceremony.

I am curious about the Yellow Letter because I never got one
Most of us never did. Basically it's just a letter reminding you to bring additional docs (which are already in your file) or your driver's license or your passport.

Marie just got her voter card today. We are still waiting for her passport and for them to return her Nat. Cert. Someday, jury summons.

Great news, Mae! I'm so happy for you. I think I've broke the record for the longest wait between interview and oath letter among the February filers. 2 1/2 months and waiting. My senator is involved and when I called for follow-up today I was told I would hear back soon. Apparently it can take up to 30 days from when they receive your request for assistance. Congrats to everyone else who's moving forward!!
Thanks, winterpassing! Hope you'll finally hear from them very soon. I know exactly how you feel. It was almost 2 mos for me from interview till this case status notification and it took a toll on me from getting too impatient. You see, now that I have been scheduled, it wouldn't matter if the ceremony would be on Christmas day. At least I know that I have a ceremony to go to. Not having a date to hold on to is such a pain. You know what I mean?

I got my interview scheduled two weeks after calling them, skipping the "in line for interview scheduling" step.
And the CS I talked to yesterday said my waiting wasn't so bad coz it hasn't been 120 days. I'm wondering if after I hung up he thought "Shoot, I better warn her DO before she sueS them with Writ of Mandamus" LOL...

It will sink in when you are standing in line at the DMV to prove your legal presence in the US for the last time.
... that too! And when I go update my citizenship to SSA and register to vote in 2012.
