Yeah...hopefully the CCs happen soon for the both of us with no problems at all! I'll keep you in my thoughts! I'm the petitioner and my husband is the beneficiary..hoping he gets an interview soon as well! He will miss the birth of our first baby in July :( Hoping you get to be reunited with your loved one soon!

Though my case is not an online one.But some basic stuffs are same for both the pivot and non pivot case..Yes you are going to the right way.Gather all your documents soon and upload it.So that you can get a quick CC..Best of luck.👍

Thanks for your response! Just uploaded my AOS documents and am now waiting for my husband to get the last two needed portions for his Civil Documents. Some of these procedures are so confusing and I wish we all had the same type of process so we all know what to do! Good luck with everything :)

  4. So, I received a case number last Monday, 6/18. I guess everything is online. I just wanted to confirm this with everyone. Basically, I don't have any option or need to fill out a DS-261 (choice of agent) and confirmed it with a customer service agent over the phone at the NVC. They stated that because this is online, that a choice of agent is not needed since there is a scroll tab and pretty much anyone that has access to our case can go into and log on the site. Our payment for the AOS and IV fees have been marked as "paid" last Friday 6/22 and so we started the application process. The DS-260 has been sent and now my husband is now starting to submit his civil documents while I'm getting paperwork ready to upload for the AOS portion. The Wikis I'm reading I feel could be outdated as it is 2018 now, and it also seems like some are going through a different process. Am I missing something? Or am I following the correct instructions?  Thanks!

  5. Unfortunately being pregnant doesn’t affect the process whatsoever. I’m currently 29 weeks pregnant and I tried to even expedite my husband’s I-130 (different process but same situation) and most likely he won’t be here for the birth of the baby since it was denied. Pregnancy is not a reason for an expedite nor does it give a “better chance” for their approval. Sorry... hard pill to swallow but I’ve accepted that I’ll be giving birth in the US alone :( I think once you have the baby, it will signify a bonafide marriage as both of you now “share” a child so it may increase his chances in the future.

  6. Hi Everyone!

So I feel kind of dumb, but as a lot of time goes on, you start overthinking, then you get paranoid 😭. So one thing that confuses me on these forums and timelines is that some people seem to be divided into two groups: K3 or IR-1/CR-1. I just submitted the I-130 form and double-checked with a customer service agent from USCIS via phone and she said that was all I needed to submit was the I-130 and the I-130A as those have to be approved before a K-3 or the IR-1/CR-1 visa would be filled out??? I got my NOA1 for the I-130/I-130A dated as received on November 15th, 2017. Was that all I needed to send to USCIS? Just the I-130/I-130A? Or was I supposed to send another form in as well? I would prefer to just file for the IR-1/CR-1 only anyway. It would be nice if my husband could come by this year (wishful thinking) even though I know he probably won’t be here for the birth of our daughter (yes I’m pregnant 😆). Hopefully I filed everything correctly! Thanks in advance for the responses!
