Well, an update, there´s no news from NCS e-mail that I sended asking about my case number. still checking and everytime that I receive an e-mail notification is spam and other stuff, but nothing of them! Is frustrating but we have anything else that we can do!

I almost lost my hope, that number is going to work once they issue the NOA2!

Hey Jhonny!! I did not receive any reply from them as well. I saw you got your NOA2 already! What did you get fro RFE??

  2. Hello! Im just wondering, cos my husband is currently deployed overseas. How can we send our packet to NVC ? Im from the Philippines. Can my husband scan all documents and il have them print and send it to NVC, or can we just email all the documents to them? Also, I understand that we need to call NVC to get our case number or invoice number. Is there a way we can get it without calling them? Or is there a way for military men to contact NVC

    Thank you so much!

    Hey DocZ

Most of the lawyers just satisfy their clients by giving their own approximate times but they are not true at all.

My own lawyer told me to wait 2 3 months and they have already passed.

    My P.D 10 oct TSC

You should be positive and i have seen august filers approval have been started so oct filers should be expecting approvals in late april and start of may.

    Good LuCk

Hello! We are also on TSC. And yes, approvals might start April to May. But we might get RFE. My husband forgot to include our passport photos 😔 he is currently deployed now. Good luck on your case!

I received the advice here in VJ that you could NOT intercept USCIS and that they included me the missing documents, they told me in VJ to sit down and wait for the RFE, because I did not send them a copy of my marriage certificate in Spanish, I only sent the translation in English, and I am 75% waiting for an RFE, the step that you are going to give I am going to do when I receive the answer from USCIS about my case number that does not work.
In VJ nobody has the absolute truth, and each case differs from the other substantially, so with doing the query we lose nothing!

Yes that is true! There is no harm in trying. Il let you know when I get a reply from USCIS. Keep me posted as well with your case. Thank you!!! Have a great day

And hey, don´t worry , as I was (and I´m) with many many things that I don´t know, and VJ members spoon feeded me, all my acquired knowledge is avaiable for everybody! We are here in the same boat, only sailing from differents countries, but with the same objective, living with our couple and childs and be a happy family!!!

Thank you so much!!!! You guys are the best. It really means a lot to me. I been kinda stressed about this process already. And yes, i really do hope we can be with our loved ones soon! Thank you again for your help and wishes!!!!

I would call them and make sure it wont delay your case. They might pull your file out of the queue to include the photos in your envelope and put it back at the end of the line again. But again im not sure... i would def recommend you call and ask to speak to a tier 2 officer regarding this. I received the RFE and it took a bit over a month to get my approval after sending the photos.

Thank you!! My only problem is i am in the Philippines and my husband is currently deployed in the middle east. Is there a way we can call them overseas?

I made the same mistake. I ended up getting an RFE and it has now delayed my case well over a month. Between sending the photos, them recieiving them and then approving my petition. If you can sort this out before its processed i believe it will save you time. Good luck!

Thank you!!! I emailed them already. And waiting for a reply. You think it's okay to just send them the passport photos now? Im also thinking about doing that to avoid getting an rfe :(

This is the NVC Checklist, try to have it all,but watch the police records expiry date , you can find that information here:

    https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country.html

There you can find wathever you need about documents country by country!

I hope this info serves you!

Thank you so much for your help!!!! I really really appreciate it. You are such a big help! Il inform my husband now so he can prepare as well.

Yes, I received that great news last Thursday, I´m focusing now (o distract myself and place away the anxiety) In having all prepared for NVC Stage, I already have the DS260 (the answers that required memory) answered, have the NVC checklist and reuniting all the required documents I´m cuban, but living in Colombia, and gathering knowledge about the next stage! And waiting for USCIS to let me know about them!

    Thanks for your good wishes

Oh okay. Im from the Philippines and my husband is in the military. He is currently deployed  so he can't call USCIS now :/ also, we still did not prepare anything for NVC. What are the things that we need? Do you have a checklist for that? Thank you again !!

Ok ,I'm waiting for an answer from NSC about my Case Number, but, really I don´t care now, because, they are so much close of my PD that is going to work when they reach the case and issue the NOA2 or a RFE! Then they finally are going to update , and place it in their Database!

Yes! You might get a notice from them any time soon! Mine was sent on October so prolly gona take for 2 moths more for an update. But still... we're getting close! Since November last year I been checking our case everyday lol. Hopefully all goes well with your case!!

  13. Hello everyone!

I am new to this site. I am from the Philippines. So my husband sent our I130 packet on October 20th and got our NOA 1 October  27th. We applied for CR1 and we are on Texas Service Center. My husband forgot to include our passport photos. He is currently deployed now and my sister in law is the one who will receive any mails from the immigration. He was able to send our packet before his deployment. Now it bothers me because we might get RFE because of that :( Im just wondering if we can send our passport photos now since they are still not processing our case to avoid getting RFE  or just wait from them?

    Thank you!!
