The I864EZ is a tax document that the US citizen completes.  Only your husband completes this from. Your responsibility is to get this and include it in your visa packet of information you send to the NVC.   He is providing evidence that he can financially support you when you arrive in the US. The is the only part of the visa documents that is his responsibility.   He can use the EZ form if he is employed by a company that give paychecks and a W2.  IF your husband is self-employed, he needs to complete the longer form, I864.  In both cases, he will also send a transcript of the most recent tax filing, 2016?  2017 complete yet?  and a copy of his W2 form for that year.  You can get your tax transcript on-line from the IRS, no charge for that.

My "EZ" form (included in my huband's visa packet) was rejected and NVC requested I complete the longer form because I am self-employed.  They accepted the revision.  Omar's interview is 3/15.  (so you know where I'm coming from....)
