Today I had my interview visa in US Brazil Rio de Janeiro embassy and my visa was approved. Thanks God for everything in each moment in this very long and stressful process. I don't know but I didn't pay anything in the consulate about the green card process or to return my passport at my address.

Thanks for the kind words, just pray and God will bless you too. To receive you passport and visa package at home outside Rio de Janeiro you need to pay an extra fee of 31 reais for each applicant, can be done through the internet at the website where you registered for you interview, you can pay with a credit card. If you want to get the passport in RDJ you don't need to pay an extra fee. The consul told me the visa package will come in two weeks.
If you have any question do not hesitate!
Good luck!
Thank you @Knychala ... I read 7 or 10 days to the passport and visa package and I bought my tickets to go to US in May 3th..

Hey @usa, me and family had our EB3 interview at RDJ consulate yesterday, for approved! It was very simple, organized and fast (I have a 4 month old baby so made it be faster). First they ask you to organize the documents and than they will call you to deliver at the consul window, where they will check one by one and take your fingerprints. Than you wait for the interview. During the interview the nice consul just asked me my education, professional background, where the company I was going to work for was located, how many years of experience I had, If I had experience on the field I'm being hired to work for and told me we were approved and that was it, less than 5 minutes. @rene_fisio thought you may wanna read this too 🖒🖒
Thank you for sharing your experience @Knychala yes... this information will be help me during the interview. I have some questions... you needed to pay something to receive your passport and the visa packet? What is the payment form? If yes, how much? How many days to you receive your documents at home? Thank you and Congratulations... God bless you in your new life in the USA.

Great to hear the interviews at RDJ are being scheduled! Fingers crossed ours will be coming this week...what was your CC date? Ours was Feb 14th so I'm really hoping for April, otherwise it looks like I'll be taking a trip to Brazil for a visit next month! After a year of waiting the end feels like the hardest part.
My CC date was Feb 7th

Hi All...
Does any of you all know if there is any difference at NVC interview scheduling between visa's types? for example, I've seen a CR-1 CC on Jan 19 been scheduled the interview for March and this other person EB-2 that had the CC on Dec 6th haven't had an interview date so far. Both PD are current.
My CC is Jan 26 and I'm waiting for interview at Brazilian consulate.
Tks.
Hay... I'm in the same place... I received in February 7th an NVC email talking about they finished my process and now I need to wait the email to the interview in US embassy Rio De Janeiro Brazil. Someone know how many days they need to finish all and I get my schedule? I'm Currently process for EB 2. Thanks

I received my NVC process today and my priority date is 12/09/13. I'm from Brazil and my visa process is EB 2. What this mean? I want to understand this process because I don't know if the next step is my interview appointment. Thank you
