Four weeks left, no updates. A week more and I would ask how they are going to honor their 6 weeks max timeframe (includes shipping).

Hi all -- we applied for my newborn daughter on 3/27 (1 month ago) in NYC for regular processing, but still haven't heard back. It is indeed trackable on the website, with the status "Processing."
Just a couple months ago, our own passports (naturalized USC) arrived in almost ~2 weeks, so I'm curious if this is expected?
Same experience for me: earlier this year applied for son's passport and received it in about two weeks. Applied for passport for myself on 4/2 - still processing, no updates.
-
Haven't been here for a while.
Good luck everyone.
Just one note: for those scheduled for oath ceremonies, please don't waste your time and don't appear hours in advance, you will have to wait long long hours before the ceremony starts.

Anybody received there oath notice from Minneapolis/St.Paul Field office? Been inline for oath since March 4th..Today is exactly two weeks 🙄..Hopefully i hear something soon.
I have received mine in exactly 20 days, so don't be worried.
-
Looks like number of people are having oath on 4/2. Should be another 1k people ceremony.

According to US Passport Form (included in your packet at Oath Ceremony), you need proof of US Citizenship and Government Issued ID (eg MN Drivers license). That's it.
That's fine. But what about my kids? According to the same paper they need "official" translation to apply for passport.
-
@marcusa and others applied for passports for their kids on the grounds of naturalization, is having translated marriage/birth certificates (ones that we used with N-400) enough for the Department of State, or we need to go longer route with getting Apostille(s) for them?

Citizenship interview on coming Tuesday March 5th for my husband. Yes I am coming with. Can anyone reccomend some easily accessible parking to someone who is poor at driving downtown (me!)? I don't care about price, I just want to know the easiest parking lot/garage to go into?
If price doesn't matter, Fifth Street Towers have good parking lot that is skyway connected to USCIS building (~3-7 min walk).
Or, if you prefer to avoid driving in downtown at all, municipal ramps A, B and C are for you: you can enter them directly from freeway (I-394). Skyway connected ~15-20 min walk.

Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed! Just seconds ago!

All, has anyone seen this in myAccount.uscis.dhs.gov?
Estimated wait time:
We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time.

I see from the spreadsheet that 6 people are waiting for oath dates. Is there any updates from these 6 people?
We actually have seven, and the eighth one will join us tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be the third week I'm waiting for oath letter as well.

Any movement in Minneapolis office is great!

I hope I get the interview letter soon cause I am beyond frustrated with all this process. Almost 2 years since I sent the paperwork.
Make sense that they are waiting for a number of applicants before sending the letters.
Thanks for your input.
Letters to both Senator and Ombudsman cost nothing and don’t require a lawyer either, but can greatly help with your case. At least Senator office helped with my i485 delayed past any reasonable limits.

Two weeks left, still waiting for oath letter...
-
@Mapleine, were you #80 on Feb, 6th? If yes, I remember you
Passed interview on Feb 6th as well, no oath update yet
-
@GoBig, how long did it take to schedule an oath in your case?

Definitely no jeans, I'd say. If you do decide to wear jeans, pick something that is not faded or ripped. I treated this interview as I'd treat a job interview. Good luck!
I bet I know at least one person who successfully passed the interview in jeans. Levis model 513, blue.
And BTW he was dressed way better than most of uscis officers there.
-
Exactly a week passed sitting (staying?) in line for oath...
-
@RachelGreen14, everyday clothing is just fine. Jeans too. Don't worry too much, it is not an oath ceremony.
-
@Shadyoak, the point is that the officers closely watch you while you're waiting for interview (if you came with your spouse and your kids), so they can make decision on I-751 just based on that.
Congrats, and please don't forget to add your case here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1q2WooojyQKVxbF_N6bxO8muQM8QjybXZVv5QzSqDWAk/edit?usp=sharing

Is my understanding correct that we have only one person in our list who was interviewed in 2019 and received his oath date?
-
Hehe, last comments show that people here hoped that their waiting is done with interview date scheduled, but no, Mpls office won't be Mpls office if they didn't use their last chance to make another few months long line for all passed their interviews.
-
Just received "In line for oath".
