Well, it's not great news. We got a 221g. Requesting the consent from my daughters father to be notarised. He gave consent no problem, but he refused to get it notarised, so I guess unless he changes his mind and gets it notarised, which is highly unlikely, I am at a loss at what to do next

Well everything went ok, except for the consent papers from Courtneys father. He willingly gave consent, but flatly refused to go get it notarised. So until I can work out what to do now, we will have to wait for our Visas.

The paperwork from the Embassy is very misleading. It says you have to have custody papers, and I have those, with nothing restricting me from taking my daughter out of the country. It also says, if you DONT have those, then a notarised letter of consent from the other parent. I had that too just not notarised.

Oh well, feeling very disheartened, but time will tell I guess.

Aww, thanks guys! Tommy and I are both here in London, with my daughter, Courtney. We only had our medicals today, so it will be a few days until those results get to the Embassy and we know anything for sure. We post to let you all know how it goes though.
