  1. I went to the interview alone and my visa got approved. Just be confident, and answer the questions honestly. The CO questioned my 5 month stay in the US, he even implied that I didnt travel but work. I just said, no. He double checked my passports to see if I answered truthfully about my stay in the US.

He didnt ask for our photos, ITR, and affidavit of support, but every case is different so just be ready.

you will do fine, with or without your fiance. Its not a determining factor. As long as your relationship is true, you brought evidence to prove its authentic and you  guys answered truthfully the i-129, i think there will be no problem.

i think there was one couple here..the US citizen was present during the interview however the petitioner forgot about his incident with police. So he answered no in one of the iterms in i-129 which for the embassy means he lied and this caused their visa to be denied.

  2. Usually your guardian will be ask to step out if there are sensitive topics.

or  If you are not comfortable to answer it, ask the doctor that if its possible it will be just you and her. Or give her signs you are not comfortable about it. Usually they will get a cue about it.

  3. The child may be a minor but in order to respect the right of the privacy of the child. The grandmother was asked to step out. It is to build a trusting environment to the child so that she can share and confide to the physician, without doubt and prejudice. And so that the physician can get true information.  Promising whatever they discussed will be keep between them.  This confidentiality can only be broken if there is impending harm to the child or questions of safety issues.

Physicians usually do this, to probe about sexual history, drug use, abuse, etc. just imagine if you are the kid and you are with your grandparents/parents. Sometimes a kid will lie because they are with their parents or guardian, due to fear of being scolded at or reprimand. And family relationship varies. Some have good relationship and some dont have good relationship. So this is the main reason why the doctor ask parents to step out. Especially if the patient is the kid and not you. It is for the patient to disclose things and know it will be keep that way.. and of course the most main reason the doctor ask this kind of questions is so that they can give the right treatment to the patient. Just like with the questions of being pregnant, or the last time they had sexual activity. MMR is not safe to pregnant woman.  So doctors need this informations.

Not all kids are innocents nowadays, there are people who get pregnant at the age of 12. Get sexually active at the age of 9, or 10. Just so you know

  4. I see. Sorry im just sharing my experience.  You shouldnt be scare to apply,

Anyway I was only a student when I applied. I dont have money in the bank and i dont have properties. I showed them my parent's finances.

Showed them my aunt's invitation and also that she will finance my trip. I also told them what was plan during the trip. I dont have a ticket at that time. As long as you have a clean conscience that you are just visiting. You answer them truthfully. You will be fine.

    Anyway just try.

  5. Show that you are still enrolled or registered in your school.

present to the consul an affidavit of support from your cousin backing up with your cousin's income/ financial status of your cousin.

may be a letter of invitation too from your Friend in Harrisburg.

*just try applying. Dont listen to what other people say. I got a 10 yrs tourist visa via my aunt. As long as your cousin earns sufficient and you are a student. You will be fine.

If you own properties... bank records..,credit card. You can show that too.

Dont make up something financially. Just be honest. If you have a concrete plan.. like you will go there for three weeks and we plan to go to so and so.. you will be fine.

  6. thank you for helping out. Im scheduled for an interview in USEM this April.

Finally, understood everything. Actually my fiancé didnt read the whole thing. He just sent me portion of the file, so I was the one who got confused. I had to insist that he has to fill the form and he keep on quoting the one in the photo. So I did research. Read the whole stuff just so to make a point that he has to comple the i-134.

  7. Hi i am really sorry if i am becoming a bothersome. Just last one, did the consular look for the i-134 during your fiancé/fiancée interview?

My fiancé quoted the one in uscis.. regarding the affidavit of support. So im like..now i dont know what to do. Should i just go for thr interview without the i134 form and tell the consular regarding it. Or plan b... be persistent with my fiancé and have him fill the form. 🤣EE500362-66EF-4A70-BBF8-F925B9866EAC.thumb.png.3e83c713f5a46227a88a62fcba8c3334.png

  8. Hi good day everyone! Im sorry if it will be a redundant topic but i realy couldnt find the discussion about where to file i-134. Im about to prepare my papers for my k1 visa interview in the embassy.

Other people say you need to bring it during the interview but when I check the website of us embassy manila it specifically said that I shouldnt bring the original i-134, but file it to NVC. Can you please enlighten me?.

Especially to people who just had their interview recently. Because I think this is a new procedure. Thank you very much for taking your time to help me.
