Once a WAC number is issued, then you can expect the bio letter within 2 weeks....

The new WAC Number that hunnyko is tlaking about is the CR-I89 number I presume? Is this correct v333k?

I am literally shaking! I just checked my case online like I have been doing daily for the past month and it says "DOCUMENT PRODUCTION OR OATH CEREMONY" and under it it says "On July 26, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you."

Does that mean what I think it means??? My husband is APPROVED???!?!?! ahhhhhhhhhhhh :wow:

What now?? Are we done? Do we have to go to an interview???

Instructions: If more than 30 days have elapsed since your NOA1 date and you have not received your biometrics appointment letter, you can call the NCSC (their number is on your NOA1) and put in service request to the service center which you filed (CSC or VSC) to find out the status of the biometrics appointment letter. Make sure to verify the home address and mailing address (if any) with them on the phone. You can also request to speak to an immigration officer (you may have to ask at least twice to be transferred) to get your CR I-89 receipt number, (it is the receipt number of the biometrics letter) so that you can track your case online.

I'm happy to report I received a response for the service request I placed on Wednesday. They say my biometrics date has been set on August 20 and I should be receiving the notice in the mail. Once I receive it, I think I'll try to see if I can do a walk-in

I forgot to ask for the CRI89 number, I'm just reading the threads that I should have asked for IO to get the CRI89 number.

In addition for ur listed information the officer asked for my parents name .... there's no question answerable by yes or no ... I just don't know with others.

Which means they could ask any random questions mentioned on the application form I-751 that we submitted??

I thought I would just call them from work. Great then we'll call them while we are both home.

Other than the basic Application information like the: Name /A# / Receipt# / Receipt Date / DOB / Address; what information do we need to have handy.. Someone mentioned they asked the yes/no questions... can someone please clarify ?

Is this the number to call California Service Center: 800-375-5283 ?

Also is it necessary that the applicant be present or the US citizen spouse can call and check for the information on the Biometrics letter?

The credit card wants the money back that you borrowed from them? That's an outrage! How dare they!

Luckily for you this would only matter for your immigration case if you had pulled the same thing on a Government agency. Uncle Sam has ways to make your life miserable in ways the credit company can only dream about. Therefore, always pay your taxes first, then child support, then your mortgage, and at last and only in cases you have any money left, those whom you borrowed from.

I see that you guys keep talking about CR I-89 and CR I-91 receipt number. In one of the earlier posts bsZoom42 had explained to me what CR I-89 was, now if bsZoom42 or someone knowledgeable can explain what CR I-91 is, I would greatly appreciate it.

When I spoke with the USCIS Immigrations Officer, they mentioned that the I-751 receipt number is sent on the NOA1. It is not meant to be trackable online at the USCIS website. If you read the full text of the NOA1 though (I attached a copy of my to an earlier post in this thread) it mentions the CR I-89 case can be tracked. The Receipt number that comes with the Biometrics is actually tied to the CR I-89 case. An I-89 form is an internal form that USCIS uses to issue permanant resident cards. The the CR before the I-89 probably stands for Conditional Resident.

Basically, what this amounts to is that filing an I-751 petition leads to a CR I-89 form that USCIS files on your behalf. The CR I-89 case status can be tracked on the USCIS website; whereas the I-751 case cannot be tracked. And the receipt number on the biometrics notice is the CR I-89 receipt number.

Thanks to AndieR, we called USCIS again today.

The customer service representative we spoke with was very friendly, polite and professional. This time it was less then a one minute hold before she answered the line. We responded to her questions, and then asked to speak to an Immigrations Officer. It was less then a one minute hold to get to an Immigrations Officer, and we responded to her questions, and she provided the CR I-89 receipt number.

What's the CR I-89 receipt number? Can anyone please let me know?

If your wife has not changed name(s) after her marriage to you or has never used another name then yes you should leave it blank.

Which also means that the current name is what she has provided in the AOS filing when she got her conditional GC.

Looks like you got your ROC approval in less than 2 months.

For whatever reason, you won't see the case status online until you receive the biometrics appointment letter with its own receipt number. THAT is the one you can track online. I had the same question too.

I presume you have digital pictures. Simply print them 2 on a sheet and send the across. A lot of people do that.

You do not need to register - but if you do, it will be easier for you to check the status of your case, and in case there are updates and you have signed up for notifications, then you will receive them as soon as they become available on the online system.

As for the receipt number, the NOA receipt number (or the one that is printed on the check) will not work... you will have to wait until you receive your biometrics letter and use the receipt number on it

Are you saying that we'll recieve the actual receipt number in the biometrics letter. That doesn't sound right. In the NOA1 it clearly calls it the receipt number. Can anyone clarify this one please?
