You can get your answer by calling NVC by Friday Jun 29, or Monday July 2 (NVC does not work on Saturday and Sunday).

They will begin sending interview letter on July 1.

But recently, some cases only got their IL before the interview 30 days (which mean they got their IL on May 24 for the interview on Jun 27). So the best way is calling NVC to get a straight answer.

    Thank you for helpful answer.

Do you know how to contact them?

Looks like you are still eligible under CSPA with plenty of breathing space

I'm afraid of "Seeking to acquire" I don't know what means this exactly, but as I understood If I've additional years this means nothing but if I I'm already 21 Than I'm done

Your age is fine.  The only problem I could see because your answers are a bit confusing is if your granny was only an lpr when she filed for you and if your mother got married between that date and the date your granny became a USC.  If  she was married at all during that time the petition is void.   As llong as your mother was divorced before the petition was filed or married after granny became a US citizen you should be fine.

Yes, My mom was divorced before the petition was filled.

Then you should be eligible for a visa if you are still under "21" according to CPSA age.   The dates that important down to the day are  , your birthday.  The day that is on the notice your grandmother got when she filed and the date the petition was approved.    You take the dates between those 2 events away from your exact age and see if that makes you under 21 when your mothers petition is current.

    Hello, how are you?

    That was my another account...

My case was approved 12september13 and cutoff date is 27august11. I was born 09september96.

At this time July Visa Bulletin is on 15aug2011, So on the next visa bulletin I think my pd will be current and my age will'be frozen right? If so on this logic I'll be 20 years old right?

2months ago they delete my case, because  they thaugh I must be aged out on this time i think so. But Lawyer said I've still the chance and he sent my documents again and they recaived it and said it's under review. Basis on this information I've still the chance to fight right?

I'm sorry for my bad English.

I hope you understand what I say.

  4. Hello everyone!

I'm waiting F2B visa category with my mom, both of us unmarried.
My priority date is 27.08.2011. Cased was approved 12.09.2013. I'm 21 and on 9 september I'll turn 22. As I understood I've 2 additional years and 16 days. I think before 12 september my priority date will be current, but they remove my case. Our lawyer says, that lawfully we've the right to fight for return my case.
What do you people think about this situation?
Thanks for attention! I really appriciate any kind of answer.
    Sorry for bad English.

  5. Hello guys.

Me and my unmarried mother waiting F2B(Family based visa) from my grandmother.  priority date 27.08.2011 and approval was in 2013 september. So I've 2 additional year I'm twenty one now and in 9 september is my birthday and I'll turn 22 and I think it will be a problem. I've a question: What do you think before 9 september my priority date will be current?

Did your mom declare she was denied a visa on the DS260 application at the NVC stage? She will need to be honest about what happened in the past. NVC reviews all the documentation but the decision is made at the interview stage as to whether the visa will be approved.

If the case was just completed it might be several weeks before an interview date is booked. It will depend on how busy the Georgia consulate is.

Yes, my mom declared that she was denied on tourist visa. She wrote honestly everything, what was the reason of lie and etc ...

Are you still the OP? (different account?)

Thanks for the update and good luck.

That said, NVC doesn't approve anything for a visa. They only accept and package things together for the embassy so that they can handle your case.

Yes, this is my different account.
Is this the good news or there is still the chance of waiver?

Yes you can, I did so successfully. You will need to show that ties to your home country are strong in the meantime. The type of visa you’ve been petitioned for probably makes a difference too, in terms of your risk of abusing a tourist visa (like risk of overstaying with US citizen spouse)

    Thank you for reply.

I'm a student and studying in my country. I don't know how strong tie this is, but I think this means a lot
