My husband is also waiting for his police report... did they approved any of the other documentation while you were waiting?

You will not be checked until everything is uploaded then submitted. Then you need to check the priority date on nvc when they will review everything submitted at once. We got done around the beginning of October it was not reviewed and accepted until November 13th, so yes more waiting...

Congrats! How long did it take since approval to get the email, pls? I’ve been waiting since we got approval on 8th October.

I believe I previously posted it but it was about 5 weeks when we got  our email notice with our case number ...

We had a slight delay because we didn't expedite her police report, but everything was submitted and we were approved on November 13th we are now awaiting the email for the medical examination appointment and. interview schedule...

I received notice from the USCIS that my petition was sent on 10/9.... when do you think would be a good time to call or send them an email for the case number?

We was approved August 8th it was sent to the National visa center on August 13th we received our email on September 30th. So that was about 7 weeks. I sent my email request after 30 days. But I took over a month to get a reply, so that method this useless to us being we got our case number before that!

  4. Are case in the National visa center awaiting payment to start our process and was wondering if my spouse arrives in the US before or after our 2-year anniversary that the green card will be upgraded to a 10 year. Should we wait until our anniversary just to get it changed to IR1 be in we are so close to that date? Of course if we are approved...

I tried sending an inquiry regards with my case thru email at NVCExpedite@state.gov, they responded after 3 days. However, I inquired too soon and they said they haven't received my file yet. You can try sending inquiries at NVCExpedite@state.gov, they reply faster than NVCInquire@state.gov

They sent me a reply BUT said we should not use this email address to inquire this a non-expedite case. BUT they sent me a web site to inquire about our case...

  6. Our case was approved on the 6th, today we got a new update saying it:

Case Was Sent To The Department of State

On August 13, 2019, we sent your case, Receipt Number , to the Department of State for visa processing. You can find general information on Consular Processing by visiting our website at www.uscis.gov . The website will provide information on what to do next, who to contact, and how to inform us of any changes in your situation or address.

So it seams to be moving fast so keep checking it, we are waiting for our letter with the NVC number and what to do next too! EXCITED!

  7. Hello all,

My wife and I (US Citizen) was married in January this year in Thailand, we are prepping our paperwork to file the I-130. We know we need to get our paperwork Translated from Thai to English.  She is trying to do all the Translation  her self. Our question is: does she need go to the ministry to get a certificated stamp from them and  if needed, what exactly it needed to bring there (marriage certificate, marriage paperwork we filled out, her ID card, her prof of residence)

    Thanks
