Hi! I took the risk and booked my interview (18-Feb) without the letter or notice from either NVC or USEM. My status has been "READY" since Tuesday.

Just an update..

Visa status was quickly changed from "In Transit" to "READY" within the day yesterday.

I called USEM - ML, the woman I talked to said to still wait for the interview notice from either NVC or USEM.

I can't schedule my interview without the notice...

NO IL notice/schedule.. can't proceed with medical.

I plan to call again tomorrow.

Looks like they used a form letter.   As an expedite you won't receive your interview date through NVC, you will schedule your own interview.

Shall I wait for the status to be READY before calling? Or can I call even though it shows IN TRANSIT only? 

But I plan to wait for another day before calling US EMBASSY here for the interview sched. 

Just an update..

our request for expedite was approved.

Now my visa immigrant status states that:

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. "

But we have not received any interview date from NVC.

what do we do next?

Hi. Just got an email that I got approved for the expedite. I checked the status, it is still at nvc. Once it is ready, i will sched interview. 

We sent expedite request last week, and we just receive the acknowledgement of our request today.

We are now on the 4th week after DQ and document still at NVC.

I think it will take another 6 weeks for the IL, but still hoping we will receive it within the week.

Hoping we get our IL, really soon!!

Where did you send your expedite request? 

Please keep me posted of their response. I called phil embassy about 2 weeks ago to ask what is the earliest sched for interview ,it was jan 27 that time. So i think we don't have a lot of back logged for interview then. Im just curious what's holding up the transfer from nvc to phil embassy.

We'll probably reschedule because we want to both be present (apparently they allow this in Manila,) so I'll keep everybody updated.

Quick question:

who emailed you the interview sched? Manila embassy or NVC? 

weird though.. our case was completed at NVC last jan 2,2020 up until now we haven't receive any update re interview sched.

Unfortunately, YES! 

Our 2nd submission took a whole new 6 weeks again for the review process. Same with our 1st submission.

i guess it may be your 1st or your Nth submission.. they're considering it a whole new submission. With minimum 6 weeks. 

4 documents invalid!! It seems all that we have submitted was rejected. 

Once we have submitted the corrected documents, how long does it take for nvc to review and give us a feedback again? 

Just an update on my case..

We receive NVC Welcome Letter last 19-Sep-19. We pay the IV and AOS fees. The day after (20-Sep-19), we were able to fill up and submit the DS-260.  And just today 24-Sep-19, we uploaded the AOS, Financial and Supporting documents. 

My PD is 6-Feb-18, which is already current as per my Country on the visa bulletin. 

How long does NVC review the documents? 

Does anybody know a timeline when will we receive my interview schedule?

Just an update on my timeline..

My case was transferred (PD is Feb 2018) last 24-Jul from CSC to Texas. 

Then my spouse (an LPR) received a notification via on 01-Aug that my I-130 was approved but we are still waiting for the approval letter via mail. 

As I understand documents will now be transferred to NVC and we have to wait for the case number. 

The August VB shows current for F2A for Philippines. My worry is who knows by Sept the VB will start retrogressing. I am currently here in the US visiting my spouse. 

We are thinking if I can file AOS while I am here or  go home to the Philippines and wait for the update. 

If someone here can share their timeline regarding the NVC stage i.e. issuance of case number, scheduling an interview. 

Or can advise us on what to do, would really be helpful.
