I was originally F2A but aged out in 2016 when USCIS switched to follow Final Action Date instead of Date for Filing,  so got bumped to F2B. My priority date is August 7th 2015, and it became current this May, but filed in June due to some extra paper works. I got my I-797C notice of receipt around June 24th, and nothing else since. 

Well there are people who applied for F2B within the US, that's probably why...like me.
