Good Afternoon guys,
Just want to to update you guys that I requested an expedited EAD tonight based on financial hardship. My current EAD from DACA expires on 8/16, and I need it to renew before then. My case is only at 106 days so its a possibility that my EAD might expire before my new EAD gets approved. I will keep you guys updated.
-
I’m on 102 days. My current EAD from DACA expires in a month and 4 days. I think it might be time to request an expedite.
-
Same here. My last update was “case ready for interview” 32 days ago for my I-485. My I-765 still shows “fingerprint review completed” 44 days ago.
-
I don’t know if you guys have been checking the processing times, but they have gone up now. I-765 used to be 2.5-5 months, and now they show as 4-6 months. Same thing for I-485. For my field office it used to be 5.5-15 months, and now they are 8-16.5 months. Seems like USCIS is getting slower and slower.

Sometimes the egov.uscis website tends to be more updated. For example my case on myuscis, the last update was on April 18 for “we reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case.” On the egov website it shows the last update on April 30 for “we are ready to schedule your interview.”
-
Update: Just checked my case status and it shows that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview as of April 30. My pd date is 3/29 and my NOA is April 3.

Your congressman/senator should have a form on their website which allows you to 'request assistance with a federal agency'. You can also request an expedite over the phone with USCIS. You'll need evidence proving whatever you're alleging.
That said, I would not be worried if I were you. If you have a March priority date you should definitely have it by August - that would be maxing out the highest end of the NBC's current processing times. Not to discourage you, but you might have a hard time proving immediate 'financial hardship' in April when you still have a valid EAD for the next 3 months.
Feel free to DM me if you'd like something more specific.
Yeah. You make a great point. Hopefully it doesn’t surpass July. I thought about renewing DACA, but even DACA is taking some time to renew as well. That’s money spent on something that I might not need.

Today, I checked my case status and it shows that they sent out my document for my I-131. I have no idea what this could be. I’m guessing it is my receipt notice since I never actually received it.

Received notice today that my EAD/AP card is approved and in production! I requested an expedite through my Senator's office based on financial hardship/job offer, including letters from my employer attesting to the disruption.
It took nearly a month for USCIS to acknowledge the request, but only took about 11 days to approve once they did.
How did you go about doing that? Is there any way you can DM me with how you did it? I am planning on doing that too. My EAD through DACA expires in August and I am scared that my EAD won’t get approved before that. If that happens I will lose my job and stuff.

I just received a text message from USCIS. It states that my case MSC18907**** (I-485) is updated and asking me to check "My Case Status" website. When I checked there was no update. Does anyone know what this text message was for?!!
If you signed up for notifications on your myuscis account, they will send you notifications to tell you that they haven’t done anything on your case lately, and that the lasts time your case was updated was xxx date. It might have been that.

I received a Courtesy Letter about my I-693 today. I didn’t think I was going to receive one because I had already sent one with my application. I guess the form was outdated. I had done my physical exam back in December, but the new form came into effect in January, and being that I sent the application after January, it is no longer valid. Well, that sucks.

Hi everyone,
I started this thread for anyone in the San Bernardino field office (if there is anyone) lol. That way we can keep each over updated on how our processing is going and etc.
-
This thread has been too quiet for the past days. I hope everyone is having fun waiting. Lol

Update: Checked my case status today and it shows that they “reviewed my biometrics and are still processing my case.” Pretty fast considering I did my biometrics 2 days ago and I wasn’t even scheduled to get my bios until the 25th.

UPDATE: Received an email today and my status in the app changed: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice.
I am glad I did not get any RFE or RFIEs. Good luck everyone.
Nice. Congrats. That’s good to hear.

Nice. That’s very awesome for you. Very quick.

They did all of my fingerprints at my biometrics, not just my right hand!
Really? That’s interesting. I wonder what the difference is.

Nothing to be worried about. They also did my right hand only, and today the my status updated to "We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case"
Cool. Thanks for the heads up. Let’s hope we start hearing the good news soon.

Had my biometrics done today. The early walk-in was successful. It intrigued me a little the fact that they only took the fingerprints from my right hand. Did anyone else have them do this? Usually when I got my bios for DACA they scan both hands and every single finger.

Post received. Was a courtesy letter regarding medical, as expected! How is everyones cases coming along?
I’m at the biometrics stage now. I’m scheduled to go on the 24th, but I will be attempting a walk-in tomorrow. Hopefully those EADs start coming up soon. My EAD for DACA expires in August.

Have the biometrics appointment on the 27th. Am I allowed to go in to the USCIS building with my husband while he does the fingerprinting?
Yes, you are allowed to enter with him.

Just received my Biometrics appointment in the mail for 04/25/18. Most likely going to do an early walk in as that falls on a day I have class.

Hey guys,
Did you guys receive a receipt notice for the I-131? I just realized I didn’t get a receipt notice for the Advanced Parole application. Am I supposed to get one?

I did not get any email notifications, nor texts. The did cash my checks on April 4th.
Document was mailed to me

I had this once for my I-131 because USCIS sent the receipt to my physical address instead of my mailing address. USPS does not deliver to my house, so they sent it back to USCIS. USCIS then fixed the correction and sent it to my PO Box, and that is why the message “document was mailed to me” came about.
