Ok , i called NVC today and they received our case from USCIS and there is no update on the NEW WEBSITE OR THE OLD !! , Our case was approved on august 16 !  How long to receive a case number from nvc ?

Nebraska is not really moving  !!!

It"s moving slow for Nebraska , i guess everyone is on vacation !

We didn't send a copy of our marriage certificate in a foreign language ! we only sent the translated one !! does that mean a RFE  ?

Both old & new website shows RFE letter sent: June 1st

Received RFE letter by mail on: June 13th

Envelope shows postmark dated: June 4th

RFE letter is dated: June 6th 

Returned Large marriage certificate (with original letter) to USCIS in envelope provided, by regular mail on Friday June 29th. We also had to apply to the Government for correct marriage certificate. There was a further delay because we were also on vacation in the USA, returned back to Canada June 28th. 

No news yet on both websites on whether marriage certificate received   (checked twice already today). 

 

Also one question for anyone. When updating your timeline when you update the section "I-130 RFE Sent :" , do you indicate the date you mailed back the RFE to USCIS or the date USCIS indicates received the RFE? Just wanted to clarify so it is as accurate information for everyone. Again thank you to everyone for any comments.

A week or two for Nebraska , i was looking into November fillers on VJ  and must of them got approved in 188, 198 ... days , We hope everyone get approved soon ! good luck to us !!  

Is there any Nebraska approvals in November ?

It's normal , it takes longer time  to approve i 130 and get NOA2 when she or he the petitioner live outside of the US  . 

And also CIS doesn't handle the checks. Most applications go to bank-controlled 'drop boxes'. These, private bank-contractors have been overwhelmed in the past 2-3 months and it is taking more than 30 days in many cases.

If we transfer your case, we will send you a transfer notice. Your receipt number will not change, and the transfer will not delay the processing of your case. So we good Nebraska. BUT ?? What is the  premium processing  ?? and is it worth it ?? (If your pending petition is eligible for premium processing and you want to request premium processing after your petition or application was transferred, you must:

• File your Form I-907 with the service center where your petition or application is currently pending, and
• Submit a copy of the Form I-797, Receipt Notice, for your pending petition or application ??
