When you sent the documents over, did the consulate request the passport as well?

Was your case in Admin Processing for a month starting from the day the consulate received your missing documents ?

They kept his passport after his interview. It was in admin processing after his interview approval and then two weeks longer once they finally  received the documents

Hey there, it was issued at the time. But I received on the 19th if im not mistaken saying it was ready for me to pick up. I picked it up on on the 23rd.

I'm still here if it makes you feel any better lol. But I will be arriving in the US on monday. Does your fiance have green/light eyes and curly hair? If so, I saw him there at the interview but I was interviewed before him.

It switched to “ready” status today so I hope that means they finally located his medical report and will issue his visa soon. Congratulations on your departure and safe travels. Yes, that was him :)

So I had my interview on November 6th and chose to have my passport delivered at the belo horizonte CASV. I called there on Friday and today and my packet is still not there.

So for anyone else who had their passport delivered in belo, how long did it take?

And has anyone that had their passport delivered to them that had their interview on the same date as me?

We’re still in administrative processing due to his medical report being delayed but my fiancé said only one of the others in his group with interviews the same day as ours has not received the visa. The rest are already in the USA. :(

Hi all, some questions: my fiancé’s lawyer submitted his DS-160 about a month ago. We haven’t heard anything...is this normal? Did we miss something? Just feeling a little lost. When I search the RDJ case number, it says ‘Ready’, and that we are supposed to wait for the email...maybe I am just being worried for no reason, but it just seems like a long time has passed with crickets!

As soon as the case say “ready” submit DS-160, then schedule your medical, biometrics & interview.

Hey. I need a little bit of advice. I just realized that the name on my interview confirmation is wrong (not entirely, It is only showing my mother's last name and it is missing my father's last name). Do you think there is any problem regarding this? Is it possible to change this piece of information? and if so, how?!

I am a nervous fiance and thought I couldn`t mess it up in step number 1.

in my defense, I think that it was the autocomplete in the computer changing things around.

Once the DS-160 has been submitted it cant be changed. Send an email to the embassy. They were very helpful in what we needed to do for a misspelling on the Brazilian passport. I have also read (but don't personally know if this is true) that they can correct it at your biometrics appointment.

ooh cool! Mine changed today to in transit, so am i gonna be able to pay and schedule it tomorrow?

    oh okay!! Thank you =))

After 10am tomorrow you should be able to. After you fill out DS-160 and submit, it will either say it is too early or allow you to proceed. We were eager and too early the first time trying to schedule and tried to do it the first day “in transit” 😂

    Quick question on the I-134.

The instructions say to '''Answer all questions fully and accurately.  If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise directed.  If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless otherwise directed.''

So on question 22.a (Page 4), where it asks if I have previously submitted an affidavit of support for the following person we were going to write n/a like we had done for the rest of the questions that didnt apply to us. BUT starting on question 22.a it says to write none.

So I wanted to know if you guys just wrote ''None'' as instructed or just put ''N/A''.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    I wrote "None"

    Hello,

Its been 11 business days since I received NOA2, so I’ve been thinking about calling the NVC to ask for my new case number.

Is the beneficiary able to call and get the case number or does it have to be the petitioner? Only because USCIS has declined answering my questions in the past and my partner (petitioner) had to call them back 🙄

    cheers

    alice

Either can call. You will need to know both full names and date of births.
