  1. hey folks!!!

my WAC Case just updated to:

    New card is being produced.

it looks like they were working without notice me of received my RFE package, despite my case was transferred to NBC, the New Orleans office requested me the RFE, i answered it, and after few days ( 22days) waiting my case was updated.

    😊 🍾🎊🎉

no N-400 filed yet! 😬 hopefully I’ll be waiting less than file both, who knows? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Last month I just got my stamp with only 6 months valid 😞 because my case is in the final steps, the field office

My field office is in New Orleans. They are still closed, but supposed to open back up 9/27 according to this page from USCIS. It has been long enough since Ida that I'd guess there is a huge backlog of cases.

Oh man! That’s right, actually that date is my deadline date as well 😂 hopefully everything it’s gonna be flowing soon.

I'm sure many people are.  When a natural disaster affects infrastructure, non-emergency government offices may close temporarily.

That’s right, hopefully them got over the disaster soon.

I’m not a filer from there, but transferred due RFE. That’s why I would like to hear or be informed on how soon be the office working out regular.

    Hi Everyone

I am a march 2019 MSC filer. My removal of condition interview is coming up soon. I lost my green card, I do not have a California ID or Drivers Licence and DMV needs my green card to issue me an ID. what can I use as a form of ID on the day of my interview? Because I heard I need to show an ID before I can get into the Uscis field office on the day of the interview. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi! I would suggest to show a copy or printed photo of your gc, may be your lawyer (if you used one) can provide some copy of it. It’s what I think.

Sent 751 in March 2020 still haven’t received a date for finger print or nothing. I moved recently and updated address online but no updates yet. When I check status online keeps saying “case was received on”  hasn’t moved past that. Anyone else on same page??

Yes, just adding the NBC transfer but similar timeline filed on May/2020. I would think that we are thousands of persons in pretty similar situation, then we just have to still waiting 😞.

Hi everyone. I just have a question that is there anyone have case transferred from WAC to NBC and still keep waiting for 3 months. I see many people that get approved after only few weeks. I have my case transferred from Nov for speed up processing but I don't know what kind of speed up is this. So frustrated while seeing many people from Texas got approved after only 3 or 4 months. Not sure what wrong with this state, 😐?

    What’s your timeline?

Is there a point in calling uscis to get more info about the case? Seems like rarely anyone has been waiting since March 2020 with absolutely no updates until now. No bio, no nothing.

I hadn’t updates til I did request my extension letter or receipt notice, other way is just wait and wait, and still waiting up to reach over the processing time expected at the time you reach it.

Is your case worst than this scenario? I meant didn’t you get your extension letter? Hopefully you did.

I wait for 8 months til see movement ( even if only transferring notice 😂)

    Another WAC filler.

    Filled March 2020. No biometrics.

    Got 2 updates yesterday.

First Update 1/19/21 Your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, was transferred to another USCIS office.

Second Update 1/20/21 On January 20, 2021, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxxx, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case.

Must say I'm pretty nervous and stressed. Why two? And why not biometrics? I dread another interview. :(

I've called the number and for the first one automated voice said that it was transferred for professing now it just says new USCIS office.

    Good luck to us all...

same situation for me, just filled May-15-2020. Hopefully moving faster due delayed processing.

    good luck everyone!

  9. Quick update about my Case status, I’ve just received email notice about transferring my case to other office:

Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

On January 19, 2021, your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC209011****, was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by February 18, 2021, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-requests to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

does anybody else got similar notice? Hopefully faster processing this new office 🙏 .

    Hi Everybody!!

I am seriously getting worried my case is lost somewhere.

I filled for my wife to remove conditions on her GC. We filed in November 2019 and her biometrics were in Feb 2020.

In June 2020 our stays changed to "waiting to schedule interview" and we have been waiting since with no update at all. I keep calling USCIS and they keep telling me to wait.

Our service center is MSC which is different from most filers. I am aware we can file N400 right now.

What should I do? Her GC expires in June 2021.

    Really appreciate any help! Thanks!

Did your wife get her extension letter already?
If don’t, so may be you can call uscis to get it in the meantime your interview is scheduled or you can request a new one extension letter if you still needing it by expiration date.

Just saw on Case Tracker app that two WAC cases that go after my case were approved and cards mailed...

I emphasize these cases go after mine by number. How is it possible that mine is still stuck at fingerprints taken while other folks get their cards before me when they are after me in line?

I have not filed n-400, so maybe they did and it sped up their approvals? Not sure, but this is frustrating

In my humble opinion I think we can wait to file n-400 till ROC it’s approved, because the time frame difference between both scenarios are similar, however for 5 years on green card holder filing n-400 there’s no the conditional marriage, obviously being stronger case still having the happiness of same marriage 😆... u can compare timelines and maybe you can file a little bit before you’re becoming a 5 years as green card holder.

Hello everyone, I have a question about this process.

we filled our I751 and received a noticed of action I797 on 01/14 that was saying that our conditional status was extended for 18 months.

    What are the next steps?

Awesome! Congrats! That’s a temporary solution in the meantime your case can be processed.

i’m curious to know, when did you send your package? I meant... When did you file your roc?

Hi everyone I just wonder if anyone receive notice for interview , I am October 29 fillers received my aed/AP but waiting for the interview and I am leaving the country on February 20 anyone can give updates pls thank you

Yes, I did receive my appointment for this month and my ead since December also. May be you have to get a SR calling to uscis if you already have 75 days.

Since I still can’t check my case status online I decided to call USCIS and basically I just have to wait 30-45 more days to get a notification regarding my EAD and AP. So frustrating 😢

P.D. They received my packets on Oct.30th and I already went to my biometrics almost a month ago.

My waiting time for ead was long as 64 days, keep calm everybody knows it’s hard to waiting for.
