Called a few times and they said there is nothing else that can be done. It is just very disappointing to hear people applied several months after and already had it approved and we are still waiting =(

I actually called them and they said they transfer my case to Texas now its a waiting game.

Is NVC having that much backlog of you need to submit some some doc cus I believe NVC should be faster

Probably a Tier 1 officer told you to cancel. They offer questionable advice frequently. So I wouldn't trust them on this.

 

My friend sent AOS last day of September 2020.  Took 2 months to get receipts. He still hasn't even got biometrics appointment. 

 

Pre-COVID, he should have got his EAD by now.

I did cancel the check  already which cost me extra $30

Wow that actually works so good. I talk to them and I was told to cancel the check I sent to them and go apply online. Thanks alot

I initially sent in I-130 application via paper process which is about 2 months with no response of either receipt Acknowledgement or case number, I also sent in a check which is yet to be cash out by Uscis. 

My questions is do you think I should go ahead and apply online. Because I have been trying to call but been talk to the auto machine and I sent email to lockbox yet no reply. 

 What do you think I should do?

Where do I check the status without receipt number or case status because I believe they should cash my check first then I will know something is done on it

I submitted my son paper application through lockbox since November 15th 2020 got delivered at Phoenix lockbox on November 18th still yet to get a receipt notification or case number. 

How long do I have to wait?

yes, you have to provide new one, and if not enough get a joint sponsor

yes, IR1 and in total it jsut 1.5 years but i had to do waiver for overstay which takes another 1 year so my total is 2.5years.

YOU dont have to wait for any instruction letter , just log back in with your case number and update your ds260, it will be open by now if you got approved and again if it not up to a yea you are good to go.

yes, the embassy sent me the instruction mail and yes i updated my ds260, and the interview was very much oat taking, cus the consular only ask one question, which work my co sponsor do. and i answer. that is all.
