  3. Hey guys, you know what it could be? I don't know if you noticed but they updated the uscis.gov website yesterday. So maybe that's why this happened, maybe it was a delayed system.

    Hope so, the first NOA2 was sure a lot more fun to receive!

    Good luck to all of us stuck at CSC... :thumbs:

    i agree...we have same experience :)

  4. Congratulations!! :dance:

    That was really fast, ours was quick and it still took 21 days!

    To those who think it is unfair...well it is, but if you cant celebrate then just stay away, none of us could choose the service center we wanted to go through, it is not anyone's fault living in a state or another.

    ~maria :luv: eric

    Indeed life is unfair!! :) life needs to or else, if we are all in the same boat, it may sink :)

    step once at a time :) congratulations to all of us, ill just be a step behind ;)

  5. So, just thought I'd let people know. I was approved 10/12/06, not by email or web check at USCIS. I was told last week that my case had already been through NVC and was forwarded to the embassy. Yesterday, I was notified by email, 5 times, that my case was approved on 11/2/06 and I was sent the NOA2, again I guess they meant to say. Anyone else received anything like this?? Just wondering and glad to see CSC is as efficient as ever. :-)

    PS Congrats to the newly approved.

    so i thought i was the only one who experienced the same thing...our petition was approved last october 23, NVC gave us the case number... and was surprised that an email came to me 6 times that we were approved (dated nov. 2) so i was wondering how many times are we approved? :) see i mentioned the word 3 times already :)

    congrats

  6. ive read that an attorney has nothing to do with the processing of visas, they can help on teaching u what to do and prepare..but when the USCIS got ur papers, we dont know the time frame when they will have the case sent to Nvc or to ur USE...no other people can make the processing faster, just pray that the people responsible for the review of ur papers will do the work diligently and faster :)

    just and info :yes:

  7. CONGRATULATIONS, FILING BUDDY!!! SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS!!!

    Hope you and Rob are celebrating like there's no tomorrow (which, of course, there now will be)!!!

    :jest::dance: :energetic: :goofy::star::dancing:

    All will be well now. I feel sure that the road ahead will be trouble-free!!

    :thumbs::thumbs:

    congratz we're on the same boat!!!

    goodluck to all of us!

  8. The NVC will prepare your file and send it to Manila. Then, Manila will send you the infamous "packet 3" & "packet 4."

    Manila does not send out a "packet 3" They will send 1 packet (4) with both a medical appt. date and an interview date and all the required forms. Nothing is sent back to the consulate. Your passport is taken at the medical and forwarded to the consulate with the medical results.

    mmmm just like what i thought...so is that means that the email i received was kinda late? hehe well, my case might be flying now to Manila, i hope :)

    thanks guys :dance:

  9. I received today the notice of approval through email...i really dont understand it...

    how many times is our case approved?

    my fiance called last october 18 informing me that our case has sent to NVC., and so happy cos we received our approval mail and our case number MNL2006*... last october 23. it was stated on that mail that this would be sent to the embassy where the fiancee lives in a week.

    so what's the real score? i need a clarification bout the mail i received in my email, would it meant that it left the NVC to be sent to USEmanila??

    we're both excited now!

    thanks to the info ive read here about other things :) wanna learn more...
