@vocaledge thank you for this!!! just to pick your brains... what exactly does it mean by 'name was updated'? We are WAC1790364040 but we haven't submitted anything about updating a name?!

I am in the same position as you. I quit my job because I thought by now I would be over and my contract was ending. As long as your fiancé (the petitioner) meets the financial requirements you are okay to be unemployed. Same as you it has thankfully allowed me to travel a lot to the US, and the only difficulty I have faced is proving ties to the UK... many people use employment status for this! There really is no consequence of not having a job as the beneficiary.

@Matt&Savannah I am flying out on Monday for 3 weeks! I have been told every time I have flown over by my lawyer that it won't affect the case and really there is no reason for immigration to stop you at POE as long as you prove that you have a k1 petition submitted. As the UK is part of the visa waiver programme and we only need an ESTA, he said that we are free to fly as many times as we want whilst the ESTA is valid. I am slightly more anxious this time as when I flew over last in October I was stopped at secondary inspection because they said it raised flags that I was going over so frequently (I will have been a total of 7 times in less than a year!). But theoretically it won't affect your case, the only thing that may happen is immigration may not let you into the country.

@Lotts Let's definitely hope so! And hopefully we haven't jinxed it!

Definitely! I think I'm just going so assume that case number really makes no difference as there is no clear structure haha! I have heard that London is one of the fastest NVCs though hopefully once we are approved it'll be less stressful for us!

Congratulations to all the Junies that have been approved already! Such amazing news and such a positive for everyone still waiting! I am really hoping that something will come our way soon! June 15 filer here. I actually handed in my notice at my work (probably a little prematurely, but I was sure by Christmas we would have heard something!) as my contract was ending and I didn't want to extend if I were only to stay a little while... now... will this affect me as the beneficiary at all? I remember putting down all my employment in the last 5 years on the petition so I am wondering will I need to let USCIS know that I am no longer working prior to interview? I am aware that it is the petitioner that is financially tested not the beneficiary, but as I remember listing my employment I just thought I'd ask...

Ah thanks for this, definitely clarified your comment! We are hoping to hear something beginning of December. I'm from London so hoping a total of 6-8 weeks from receiving NOA2 to obtaining visa! Aiming for middle January now with the way things are going. Like everyone, hoping for some June stats within the next few days! Thanks again
