    Hi guys,

So long story short i am a january AOS filer. My PD date is 1/2/18 and biometrics were done on 2/2/18. Since then i havent heard back from uscis at all. Statuses online were not updated either.

I had a couple of job interviews and in one them i was successful to go to the final stage of the interview. I got an email from the HR which says congrats you are picked as one of the 2 final candidates for the job. I feel like 90% i am going to get this job and i want to lower the chances of them not accepting me if i tell them im waiting for EAD in case if they offer me the job offer. I know the EAD expedite in itself takes 2 weeks so if i tell them to wait they might move on to the next candidate. But i really like this job!!! What do you guys think? Anybody been successful like this?

Would this be a good enough reason to do an EAD expedite? Please help share your opinion!

hey! I just got approved for an expedite. It's worth a shot. If you have the offer letter you should be fine. Just make sure when you call in you are very detailed with the Tier 1 officer so that all details are reviewed.

So this is the problem, my email address was wrong so they could only read me the letter over the phone which states that it was sent to a supervisor for review. i found someone else that had a similar letter (remember I can't read mine) and theirs was approved to expedite and by sending it to a supervisor means it was approved. I am just hoping that someone can confirm this

Under your case status it will say if your request has been assigned to an officer or completed etc. but they do send you an email.

Hey Crincon, did they require a dr note? I am requesting an expedite for a medical reason as well and was wondering if I should get the dr note ready from now.

  3. hey did you figure this out? how did it go?

I am little confused whether my expedite request approved or not.The update in the uscis site seems confusing. Here is the update I have

    Requested Expedite request on 07/19

    • On July 19, 2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1F*********CSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

After waiting 5 days my case updated with the below two updates.

    • On July 24, 2017, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1F********CSC.
    • On July 24, 2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1F********CSC, was completed.

Does the last update mean that my expedite request accepted for the process or I have to wait for the response as they mentioned in one of the updates above.

Your inputs and experiences on this are highly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Hi. So my reason was my eldest son is having a saparation anxiety and the doctors note proves it.

That's good news. Did you email them or did you mail it in? And is the doctor letter required? I'm experiencing some health issues being overseas and need to move back but want my husband to come. So I'm going to request to be expedited. I think I will get the approved if I have doctor evidence to support my claim. Let me know your thoughts.

Here is a link UCSIS' web page on expeditions. https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume1-PartA-Chapter12.html
