Update on my case Guys 
HEY!!! SO HAPPY !!! 
I just called NVC and THEY gave me my case #  and the INV #     WOOhooo 
 
Little Update : 
Case approved Jan 4th 
Sent to DoS  Jan 16th 
NVC Received jan 22nd 
Case # Assigned Feb 8th ( received via phone ) 
 

Called today at NVC to confirm our case is left from NVC to Embassy now. Check the CEAC website today and status change from At NVC to In Transit now

Great so maybe another 3 weeks for dates in the 20s

You should have told them its online if they could be kind enough to print them and stick them in there lol 
Congrats, I think its fair to say that they are taking 4 - 6 weeks to complete the review. I am hoping for the end of February.

Well am late to this topic. But I am also on the train waiting. 
We got approved on 5th of December.
NVC got documents on 19th.
We got the email from NVC on 2nd of January
sent off documents on the 16th, received on the 18th
Sent additional documents on the 18th, we forgot something, they got them on 22nd. 
 
So I am patiently waiting now and hoping for the best. We hope it doesn't take the full 11 weeks.

They will start to process August next month base on my experience. The reason why Permanent resident seems further might be because there is less person filing as permanent resident that citizen. From what I have seemed these past months, where ever they say they are, add 2-3 months to that and that's the true date. They try to stay behind to avoid a lot of enquiry from persons who think that their priority date has been passed. Keep your eyes glued to this, the minute you see one person drop in from August then you will know they have started to process August. Right now they are in July!

I think its according to the Date they are working on, if they passed that date then you can do the inquiry.

Mine finally changed today online and I got an email stating that they sent it over to NVC. On December 12, 2017, we sent your case, Receipt Number YSCXXXXXXXXX, to the Department of State for visa processing. You can check the status of your case at the National Visa Center after six weeks from the above date by visiting www.nvc.state.gov. 
 
That's what it now says. So its just today they sent the docs even though I was approved from the 5th, but thank god it has been sent, hopefully they receive and confirm before 6 weeks.

Hello Guys!!!

I am approved!! I knew I smelled it in the air!! Infact its been at the post office waiting for me from the 7th! My husband didn't get to go to his mailbox was very busy. Thank you Lord!

Great!! We were just talking about this today! Congrats! I think they will reach in the teens next week! I am 16. 

This worries me every single time I travel too. I wanna visit my husband for the Christmas with the intent of going back home but we just may never know the officer we will get.
