    Hi @Jeevan
Thanks for clarifying. USCIS charged me the $$$ fees (it shows on my bank statement). It’s been 6 months since they charged the fee. However, they have not provided any update or have not acknowledged that they even received the form. I tried emailing and calling them to get an update but no news.
What was your experience like with I-824?

    No update yet .. it’s been 7 months since I filed I-814

    Hi All,

After I-130 for my parents was approved, I had to send in form I-824 [filed and mailed in mid-April’23]. My issue is that there is no confirmation of receipt of forms. I dont know whether NVC received my forms or is even processing them? I did not get any notification and the online account case status has not updated.
I’m reading other peoples’ experiences and realize that we need to be patient as this might take time. I just don’t like being in this uncertain state where there is no proof of receipt or status update.

Can other people share if they got notifications when their forms reached the center? Is there a way we can find out whether the forms were received by NVC?

    Thanks so much!

NVC doesn’t get from I-824 . It goes to uscis . Once uscis reviews it , they will send approved petition to NVC

    No , regular case

uscis journey was hard for us . Priority date is April 20-2017 .

they finally approved our I-130 on jan 5-2018 .

NVC journey has been very smooth for us.nvc received my case on jan.22 2018 .

Got our case number right after 2 weeks

. By feb 16 , I had completed all the steps online . I mailed  all the supporting and financial documents on March 1,2018 ( had to wait to get my 2017 tax  filed )

NVC received it on March 5,2018

    scan date was March 7,2018

yesterday  around 7 pm our case status changed from “ submit required documents “ to “case at NVC

I called to confirm right away and it was cc .

Waiting for the interview date now .

  4. Hey guys ... I’m getting ready to send my final package to NVC tomorrow... I just want to make sure I got everything right ...so if anyone can help me with it .. I would appreciate it

I just have questions regarding petitioner documents .i m gonna start from top

    1. I filed I-864EZ and it’s signed and all that

    2. Proof of us status : my citizenship certificate and my us passport

    3. Proof of domicile:not applicable ( I’m confused about this one.. what proof it could be .. I m a USA citiznen .. this is my primary residence)

    4. Proof of relationship (only for I-864A):

not applicable or i again provide copy of my marriage certificate.

we are attaching it with beneficiary supporting documents already

and since it says only for I-864 A but I used I-864 EZ

    5. Evidence of income : employment letter and paystubs for 3 months

    6.form w-2: for 2017

    7.irs tax transcript : for 2016 and2015

    8. Federal tax return : for 2017 ( no transcript yet  so I’m attaching actual return papers

9.social security earning statement: not applicable

    10. Proof of assets: not applicable

11: other supporting documents : I m including affidavit of beneficiary name change

should I send two 2/2 photos of beneficiary too or it’s not required

also .. do I write down my case number on all the documents

    Thanks in advance

Good question, my case went from NWD to BMB after I had sumbitted my forms.

If you haven't yet submitted your NVC forms, you will be able to print out a new Cover Sheet from NVC's online portal:

    https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

I just confirmed that my Cover Sheet has been updated to reflect the new BMB Case ID.

Another note - internally to the NVC, both case IDs are valid. I found out when I was talking to an NVC agent over the phone and gave her my NWD case ID instead of BMB.

I did try that already but I didn’t find the cover sheet that’s required

Thanks Nelma..Yes this is what I read about K1 visa but ours is CR1 so we are confused as is it a normal for them to transfer or it's just with us. I'll try to call embassy as you guided and also will email ultradocs as we have no clue why they changed from New Delhi to Mumbai. I was wondering if someone has been in similiar situation as us. Thanks and good luck to you !

I’m in the same boat .. our case was changed from Delhi to Mumbai counslate on Friday as well .. I have emailed NVC about it .. let’s see what they say
