Hello everyone, my friends!!
My wife received her passport returned in 2 days and yesterday my wife and I entered the US, everything went wonderful, the immigration officer took the envelope and asked us some questions (which I don't remember anymore) lol took a picture to my wife and her fingerprints of the right hand, and just he said, Welcome to the USA!!
 
It's great to know that all this is over, that I can live quietly knowing that I have my wife by my side and that this whole process tackled with so many feelings is just a memory!
Thanks to all those who helped in my experience, my best wishes to you and may God bless you greatly!!
I'm so happy!!! 

Quick update my husband is finally home with me in the states we got here last night 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Very blessed 🙏🏻

Doubt I’ll get an interview in May but hoping for June!
 
Has anyone recently had an interview scheduled at Islamabad embassy? 

I think everyone who interviews after the deadline for filing taxes which is April 15th is required to bring something for 2017 unless an extension was filed. If he just brings the tax return and tells them that the transcript isn’t ready yet, I think he’ll be fine. 

if u dont have transcript bring copy of tax return and w2. it took me 2-3 weeks to get transcript from online irs system but i filed in jan....

Sadly, there is no progress for me. Still no case number  The NVC rep gave me the same story over the phone quite unsympathetically. Tomorrow will be beginning of week 11. So so tired of it all.

Just got an interview date of May 21st. 
CC : March 23rd.

saw this on nvc sign in page.......what crapp luck first when we got to case # they changed how long it took from 2 weeks to 8 weeks now changed getting paid status from 2 days 10 days lol 
 
 

I came across this 2 annoying questions while exploring other vj forum but can't seem to wrap my head around it. Can anyone kindly respond to these questions or make a comment about it. Thanks.
1. As a couple, why did you decide to move to the US rather than your own country?
2. When do you plan on leaving the US after entry?

Islamabad Embassy....just got off the phone and was told that an interview has not been scheduled for my husband yet. Is anyone else with a CC close to mine waiting for an interview at the Islamabad Embassy?
 
The wait is nerve wrecking....

pivot case got my case and IIN number after 9 weeks and 1 day!!!!!!!!!

This is ridiculous and I just don't know what to do.
 
Yesterday was exactly 8 weeks from when NVC received our case. I called this morning and the rep tells me that it is just taking them very long to enter all of the cases in... so 8 weeks is not even cutting it any more. She routed my case to a supervisor again and told me that it can take up to 6 weeks for the supervisor to review. In the meantime, a case number may or may not get assigned. She has no idea what date they are working on right now.
 
I am just so upset. This part was not supposed to take this long   So over 8 weeks now and still no case number. I better get it within the next week. 

Hey guys! I got a cc today!! Ours is a pivot case.
NOA 2: November 15, 2017
USCIS Case sent: December 29, 2017
NVC Case Received: January 9, 2018
Case number assigned: February 22, 2018
Documents submitted online (SD): March 5, 2018
First checklist: March 16, 2018
Second SD: March 16, 2018
CC: March 27, 2018
 
Now waiting for Islamabad Embassy to schedule an interview! For all those with pivot cases, it does take a long time to get the case number but the process goes pretty fast after that so hang in there! We got a cc in 21 days even with a checklist!

Guys, posting this because it might be helpful for pivot cases (submitted electronically). We got a checklist just because the biographic page of the passport was in landscape mode when we submitted it, and not portrait. So please make sure your documents are all in portrait so you guys don't get a checklist for something so small like that!

I am think it is but can't say for sure. But we did submit it for my husband and NVC accepted the document as well!

ok i think i got it now. you will still read it left to right but only diff is in portrait u have white blank space on top and bottom where in landscape u dont.....so my pic one from earlier is right but it didnt have white space on top and bottom and was bigger. then i changed scanner setting then it looks the same but bit smaller and and has white space on top and bottom and technically is in portrait. thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huh that's so weird! Because I had two documents sideways but they didn't reject those but rejected the one that was in landscape. I guess it would be best to make sure it is portrait AND also not sideways!

9 weeks since NVC received it...my wait was ridiculous! I was approved 11/15...TSC sent it 12/26...NVC received it 1/8...didn't get the case number until 3/12!! Four months from approval to case number, insane!
