  1. I was told to start my own, not "jacking" another thread.
  2. I was NEVER an A student, I had a stroke before, and have a hard time understanding things, I also use "Grammarly" to help me form sentences correctly. That's why I am on this website asking for help! I find your responses very bothersome. *ignored*
  3. another question about the I-864, I was told by my tax accountant I needed to file taxes as "single" because my wife doesn't have a Social Security number yet. True?
  4. I have SSDI, but I still file taxes. I get 25k from the govt. and have an inherited IRA account containing 50k, and my saving account has 70k. Do I need a co-sponsor? This is my most concerning thing moving forward.
  5. I just got my taxes done, and still waiting for the results of sending the I-130 in. Should I wait to hear from CSC, or send it in soon as possible? Thanks!
  6. We're going through the CR-1 process right now, I submitted the form in early Sept. 2022. the guesstimate timeframe right now is Sept. 2023, just for the approval of the I-130 form. please correct me if I'm wrong.. A lot of times I suffer from CRS, Cant remember $*** 🤣
  7. I was wondering about that also! Right now my CR-1 says approval in 6 months, but the estimate I get from VJ is about 10 months. What is the 10 month guesstimate for? Approval for everything involved?
  8. At what stage are the PC documents required? (USCIS or NVC) Thanks!
  9. I have no friggen clue then, obviously I NEED to speak with her again for further explanation.
  10. I'm confused also, that's why I threw the question out there. She is the petitioner, AND he is outside the US. I might have titled it wrong, it might have been the interview for the NVC stage. If I did, I'm very sorry for the confusion.
  11. A friend of mine in Florida was married to her husband overseas. There's local office in Tampa, but had her CR1 interview in the Manhattan office in NYC. We both found it kinda strange, but is it normal not to interview at the nearest local office? Has this happened to anyone else on here? just curious. 🤔
  12. Would it be for the petitioner or the immigrating spouse, Im asking this because I am disabled (petitioner) and I need my wife here asap. What would be the "other" form?
  13. I found this on https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/how-to-make-an-expedite-request Emergencies and urgent humanitarian reasons; In the context of an expedite request, humanitarian reasons are those related to human welfare. Examples may include, but are not limited to, illness, disability, extreme living conditions, death in the family, or a critical need to travel to obtain medical treatment in a limited amount of time
  14. Even worse I moved to Florida in 2016, to take care of my mother & stepdad the best I could. Now, they are both in heaven, and I have none one to care for me down here. it does suck, I would call it a "shop-vac" .. it suck one day and blows the next!
