depends how fast the documents were given to embassy
if you took several weeks to submit them, they could have returned the case to the US
if they got the document in a few weeks after RFE , then give them a few months to make inquries about it here in the states
they do check for real and forged documents very completely

The petitioner must provide evidence they are residing in the USA. Job, lease, rent, mortgage, bills, driver's license etc...
