    First of all,  CONGRATULATIONS!!   😁

I'll have to do some reading on the application for citizenship process.   However, when I went for the stamp in my greed card, the agent didn't keep it my conditional green card.  Instead he paper clipped it to my passport.  Having read up on it before hand, I thought he should've kept it, but wasn't about to correct him.  Soooo, I still have it.

    Thanksss!

Yeah, the officer took mine and said they were gonna shred it. I don't know why the work flow is so inconsistent between officers and centers.

  2. Hi guys,

I've been a long-time reader of the thread (million times a day 😊) and finally want to leave an update about my case.

I applied in June 2017.  No transfer, no biometrics, no RFE, no interview. Received an update via email October 4 that my card is being produced.

I am a CSC filer, case number WAC17256xxx.

Did not apply for citizenship, as the silly me just scanned the front of my green card and forgot to scan the back before giving it up for the i-551 stamp.  Realized the mistake when trying to complete the N-400 and reaching the part where it asks for the both sides of the green card 😁

Good luck to everyone waiting!! Your approvals are happening any time now!

Also, if they don't send you a biometrics appointment because the previous one is adequate, does that mean we are waiting until they process our application (reportedly next year since they are behind in this area as well)?

Hi Trason, the letter said to wait until they send another letter to inform about next steps if any. I think the next letter will be either an interview appointment or their final decision. Last time I called them I asked what if I don't get my new green card by the time the extension expires, they told me in that case I will need to go and get another extension.

  4. Hi all,

After waiting for my biometrics appointment for 4 months i received a letter today from USCIS saying that my fingerprints and other biometrics are up to date, so I won't need an appointment. They are going to use the previous ones for my i-751.

So don't get anxious, if you haven't received the appointment yet, it probably means you don't need one.

  5. Hi guys,

I filed my i-751 application in June and haven't received the biometrics appointment letter yet. Called them in late July and got a response email  " We are unfortunately experiencing a longer processing period ...". Can you please give me a link to the portal you use to ask them about the status? The one I tried seems not to have option for i-751 question (maybe I am using wrong tool?). It's kind of hard to call  and go through all that process while I am at work, an online thing would be a better solution :)
