Is there anyone here from the Philippines who worked as an aupair in The Netherlands and is on the process of K1 visa? I’m waiting for my case number (nvc, MCN). 1 month from now i will schedule my interview and medical. I am required to have a police clearance of the netherlands because i stayed there for a year. I saw a post that the US em in PH will be the one to get the police clearance from NL. Please enlighten me, should I start doing it or wait until my interview? Thank you

If you failed to answer questions truthfully, it can become an issue........
So when asked about it, i’ll just answer it. Thanks

Hi guys, i’m waiting for my manila case number (NVC). My petitioner is legally adopted by his grandparents, his parents now and then he was petitioned by them. He was a US Citizen a year ago. Will it be an issue on my interview at the Ph USEM? Thank you, we didn’t declare on our i129f that he has other names used.

finally case was approved.
next step now is the nvc phase. I have a question regarding the police certificate in the netherlands. I resided there for a year. But i read some thread that NL don’t issue PC. Interview for k1 needs the PC in any country where you resided for more than 6 months. Did any of you had the same situation as mine?

Just got our noa 2 today. I’m getting stressed out on the police certificate/clearance in the Netherlands. I resided in NL for 1 year as an au pair. On the lists of requirements for the interview for k1 visa it says that you need a PC on a country where you resided for more than 6 months. My question is, can I get a PC by myself? Or the USEM here in the PH will do the work for me on my interview? Tia

Yes it's not a problem. I lived with my parents when I filed the K1 visa for my husband. If any of the children/adults in the house are listed as his dependents when he filed his taxes, it could effect the income level he will need to petition you, but living with parents has no other effect on the K1 petition.
Thank you. The money he earns is only for himself. None of the children nor adults are his dependents. I hope his income can be okay for him to file. He works extra so I think it will do.

Are there additional checks because of the situation in Mindanao? Have you noticed any increased scrutiny?
Haven’t heard the news lately i’m sorry. I’m from Caloocan and my fiancé is in Houston

He has a stable job now. I’m just wonderin’ how much should be his annual income for him to file for k1?

Is it okay if my fiancé lives with his parents? They are 5 adults and 2 children in the house. Can he file for k1 visa?
