is it mainly because of the bloody cold weather making Minneapolis office processing sooooooo slow ? or they just work half day?!

i have friend in another state filed at the same week as mine in Nov 2017, and they already interviewed last week.

big congrants!  you filed on  07/09/17 and scheduled on 01/11/18 ..six months,much faster than the normal processing(1+ year ) at Minneapolis office.

i havent visited here for a month and just found out  11/43 filers  had the interview scheduled!

USCIS emailed me this morning with no update yet!

it again proves that, MSP office takes a year before interview be scheduled. i just dont understand what takes them so long ? Following the fingerprint, the FBI background check shouldn't be a year long to finish. I believe the new MSP field office is very in short of staff,considering this office is covering 3.5 states !

I get the regular 14-day update that "my case is still being reviewed", however, today I received THREE notifications for "Account Update Notification", which usually signifies some sort of movement. 

 

Sad to say, that doesn't seem to be the case, but I'll give it some time to perhaps change into "interview scheduled"!  I know, I know, dream on! LOL

I didnt receive regular update yet in 14-days-window

seriously? your FP was 1/2017 . it's still no  interview letter  yet now ? 

usually people are in line for interview right after biometrics,though "in-line" simply means the background check is starting now and you are in the line waiting for months for FBI clear and interview being scheduled.

uscis  emailed me this morning, that there is no status update since biometrics.

my field office at Minneapolis,Minnesota is covering 3.5 states residency area( Minnesota, Dorth Dakota, South Dakota, Western Wisconsin), has about 3500 N400 new applications every month and 15,000 cases pending for interview or oath.

these data is pretty much similar to the seattle office . BUT, our average waiting time is about 12-15 months before interview.

you are almost reaching the finishing line. it's almost a year since your biometrics . Enjoy your holiday and expect  its coming-in as new year gift to you.!
