  1. We just received a rejection notice for my wife's adjustment of status and work authorization.  We submitted both together which waived the I-765 fee. However, the sent the package backing saying the payment was incorrect or not received. The bank check is in the package for the $1140.00. I thought I would ask here for any thoughts. I will be calling the USCIS office when it opens.

    Thank you in advance.

  2. Hello all.

My now wife who came on her K1on 26-Oct-2018 and we married 8-Dec-2018. We completed her adjustment of Status document with the I-765(work request) (we also had already went to the S.S and requested her s.s card right after our wedding) and I-864(affidavit of Support).

Her packet made it to USCIS yesterday.

My question is: her I-94 expires 28-Jan-19. What happens now and what if USCIS doesn't process her Adjustment of Status before Jan-28?

    Thank you all in advance.

  3. Hola a todos.

I live in Florida. I am an American who fell in love with my Colombiana because my friend and Colombiano brother introduced us almost two years ago. Last year I lived in Bogota for 6 mos to get to know her. My whole life has been made better for it and I found the woman of my dreams and a most beautiful country.

We submitted our petition last Dec. and I just received our NOA2. I am using this website for my guide. I am completing the I-134 and will have all my supporting documents.

    However, Could anyone advise?

    • We are not sure what to expect next. i.e, medical evaluation, etc.
    • What should she expect in the interview? How if possible may she prepare? I know she should not sound rehearsed.

    Any help would be appreciated.

There might be someone from Colombia that is able to help you and she understand the interview process in Bogota, and there is a group of people at a country level supporting each other.
You (Sponsor) don't have to have an interview in the US, only the beneficiary (Fiancee) in her country.

@Greenbaum have posted several sites with the complete process after receiving NOA2 for K1, with information that is very useful. Search under that name.

    Hope it helps!

Thank you. I know I don't have an interview. I more anxious for her. Thank you, I will search for your post.

  5. Finally received NOA2. Our packet is being sent to NVC. Preparing to Gather additional information to be ready. My Fiance in Colombia is nervous about what to expect when we receive the interview for her in Bogota.

    • Anyone have any good Tips for her as to what to expect in the interview.
    •  I an not sure If I will have to do an Interview here in the US.
    • Now that we have the NOA2 what's next?

    Thank you all in advance.

We are excited and nervous at the same time.

  6. I just sent my fiance's visa packet. I know we now wait on the NOA. My fiance is Colombian. She does not have records of her immunizations. I found the guide dated 2009 which explains the required vaccinations, recommended etc. Can anyone help me with the following questions?

    1. Which of the required (in yellow) vaccinations are really needed? Are they all required as it says?

    2. Which of the recommended (in gray) vaccinations are needed?   somewhere it states if the conditions apply the vacc is needed. Which ones much be obtained?

    3. When should we begin having her obtaining these vaccinations?

Also, regarding the Financial support form what all is needed since I work and make over 36k per year?

I may be thinking too far ahead. Maybe someone can outline what to expect along with me following the flow chart.

    Thank you in advance.

    William
