    Hey Friends,

we we just received a letter on the 10th that we have an interview on the 27th in Orlando.

mind you we used K1 visa, and filed I-485 in February 🇺🇸

Gee. It took TOO long. So your interview is scheduled 17 days after the notice? not >30 days?

We had our AOS interview today in Orlando and went extremely well. The officer was super nice and polite and made us feel completely at ease. The interview only lasted about 15 minutes and although it was not approved on the spot, the officer said everything looked good and we should be getting the Residence card in a couple of weeks. He said he didn't see any issues with the application, had everything needed and was approving it at his level but it had to be revised and final approved by his supervisor. The officer did not ask us any "tricky" or odd questions, basically personal stuff and double checked everything we had put down on the I485. The interview was a complete breeze, quick and uneventful.

Congratulations ! Lucky you! I am a June filer and our office's processing time has been updated backward Jan. :(

Did you make any service request for i-485? Would you mind sharing your interviewed questions? Many thanks!

Yay! Just received the AOS interview letter in the mail, its scheduled for Jan 28 in Orlando. For those that already had their interviews, do we need to bring the Birth Certificate for the beneficiary to the interview even though one was submitted with the I-485 application? The NOA letter says to bring the medical/vaccines Form I-693 and Affidavit of Support Form I-864 UNLESS ALREADY SUBMITTED, but how about the Birth Certificate?

Lucky you! I know a few Feb and March filers have not received any interview notice yet even they're out of processing time. Did you make any SR or Infopass? Please share, thanks. Waiting for your good news.

I just wanted to say congratulations to everyone so far :) We are still waiting in Orlando. Our Service Request was "Completed" yesterday, so just waiting to see what comes in the mail.

I also thought I would share that we used the Advanced Parole this morning. We decided to go on a week long vacation (Bahamas Cruise) we didn't apply for I-131 till about April, and we used the 'Paper' parole this morning arriving into Port Canaveral. We arrived and the immigration/customs officer was incredibly friendly, pulled me aside, and it took 15 minutes. He literally said, "Oh we are just going to give you some stamps today, it wont take too long.... Did you have a nice vacation?". We just had a friendly chat whilst he was entering stuff on the computer, stamping passport and Advance Parole Doc. Thats it :)

    I hope that helps :)

Did you make any SR for you case? If so, have they responded yet?
