  1. Hey Guys,

my fiancee had an interview on 19th in Moscow and consular told her everything was ok and aproved, but since I am checking the starus at ceac and it shows me the same thing:

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.”

when I look it up, in maximum 6 days everyone was getting approved amd issued passport and here is mine, not even moving anywhere.

  2. yooohooo appointment finally was made :))

Oh we're hoping for the same, but I am like you ... I just want to get her here with me and be done with this process, and so if we gotta wait an additional month .. well not much to do but accept it really. Good Luck to you and December will be here before you know it!

Not a problem. Best of luck with the interview :)

Sorry to hear about the delay. I'm sure when you finally get the visa and move there permanently, you can make up for the lost time :)

oh yes. this is so true... I was hoping for my interview in november or at least the beginning of December so I could spend my man's birthday, christmas and new year there with him. And here it's all delayed for at least a month. This is a tough process

can you guys give me slightly idea what kind of questions you (or your fiance(e)) have been asked during the interview?

We are in Transit now and expect to see ready on Monday. I just saw today where an appointment was given for December 27. I think the average wait for an appointment is about two weeks as they are just assigning them first come first serve, and unfortunately it looks like another couple months wait for us my friend, but maybe not just have to see when they hand them out. Having said that two other friends received their appointments for two weeks out and then one month out so who knows ... Good Luck to you!

when did you have a chance to schedule?

first come first serve by whoever got registered first and at the line or whoever makes schedule at first?

thank you my friend, may the luck be with you

Generally, only limited slots are open for each month. Keep stalking the system just in case someone cancels and frees up a spot. Late October/early November is a good time to look out for December slot openings.

So I have been checking past 10 days like 8-10 times a day, nothing so far

I've been waiting for 3 weeks before I could make an appointment for December 27. Unfortunatelly, there were no sooner dates, only 27 and 28 in December. I haven't heard of anyone to have an interview in November.

I needed Xmas and NY to spend together but seems like I have to just agree whatever shows up

  4. Hello guys

I am doing K1 visa for my fiancee. I got everything NVC letter on 9/13/17. and about 10/3/17 my fiancee paid visa fee to be able to schedule an appointment.

10 days past since then and still unavailable to schedule an appointment. Every time I try do schedule an appointment shows me that "currently no appointments available" and it is already 10 days like this.

Can someone share experience how to get over it?

    thank you

    Hey all....

Hoping someone can give me some positive news, or at least some hope. Today is day 139 since they received my application (received March 30), and my NOA1 is dated April 19. I assume it took a while to transfer from Texas to California or something (19 days?).

Anyway, no NOA2 yet, and it's driving me nuts. My fiance is in the Philippines, and we're hoping this is the week. But every day my Informed Delivery shows nothing, and the USCIS website shows nothing. No RFE's. Nothing.

My receipt number ends in 93396, and I saw earlier in the thread that some 80000's have been approved.

Anyway, does anyone have any hopeful words? I'm not sure how to check which ones have been approved or where they are.

    Thanks much.

I sent on March 30, and today I just saw through the app that they need more evidence....

I'm in the same boat. No idea on when I'll get the authorization to schedule the interview and no idea on what will be available then. I so want for this uncertainty to end :P

But yeah, there's a chance you get your paystub before interview, but I think it would be ok anyway if you don't :)

Lucky people got the approval barely a week after the response was received. Other unlucky people have to wait for almost the 60 days they apparently have to make a decision after receiving the response.

So yeah, tricky question, but I hope you get the RFE in the mail soon, it's an easy fix and they approve you fast :)

so for me definetily its second term.... :))

I am close to this. I sent on the 31st and my NOA1 is April 7th and yes... still waiting  hehe

Thank you everyone who replied and AnJ Co!! I am gonna give this a try on my way home from work while in the car... I figure it can't hurt and I technically won't be wasting any time since I am just driving anyhow :P

hehee we are on the same team mate :)))

    good luck

It seems like they are still processing cases with received dates between March 23 and March 31

However, there are a few cases with April 1 to April 5 received dates that have already been approved.

So just hang in for a little longer...2 more weeks I would say. They're getting closer and closer to you...maybe at a sloth's pace but closer :dancing:

thanks mate.... I still have little bit of patiance left over
