How is he a shill? He promotes a website that he put together that helps people in the Philippines to see what they need to do. I have sent a number of people to his website that have looked at it and said "this website is great because it lays it out for you". I am sorry that everybody is not some high polluting guy like you that can't do anything right without a lawyer.

Sorry not me, never used a lawyer. However it seems you like to be a lawyer..

    Shill away folks..

OK .. obviously you are using my website... and I charged you what to access it?   THAT would be "shilling"  ..  if you had to pay of fee to access the info.

The remitly link has no correlation with having access to the information..       Also you can't read very well ... as there is a disclosure regarding remitly on that page.

And this from the guy that sent me a  PM apologizing for  ... "what" ?

Now back to helping those that actually appreciate my FREE efforts.

President Shill, you are a shill accept it. It doesn't need to be an 'internet shill'. But you shill things that you have no experience in, just because you 'read' it somewhere and made a website. Doesn't need to be for money. You be shilling.

Ya can't help some people.  I got a laugh out of him calling me a shill .... still waiting for his payment from using my website

"An Internet shill is someone who promotes something or someone online for pay without divulging that they are associated with the entity they shill for. A shill might create a Facebook or Twitter account, set up a blog or simply comment through these and other channels, such as discussion forums."

I must be one lousy shill, promoting a website that is .. free     Guess I am doing that wrong.

Umm, so then your remitly referral links that you post aren't making you money right? exactly.

It is know etiquette when you supply a referral link to disclose that you are making money.

Hello, thank you for sharing this. Have you finally gotten her police clearance? What requirements did you need for the fingerprints in Camp Crame?

The paperwork was finally mailed off last week. In the end DHL rejected Camp Crame and she had to get the prints done at NBI. If you go through DHL, (which I hear is now a requirement) the employees there are unprofessional and will waste your time. When she completed all the requirements, she had to get three items redone because the person at the counter changed their mind as to what was acceptable.

edit: The security division in Qatar called my wife once they received her paperwork, she forgot to get one document authenticated, which cost another 1750 to send.

  5. Most of the posters here are just shilling their website (hank and Greenbaum) and like to be known on the forums for a high post count. But we went through the process of getting the police clearance from Qatar. It seems the Qatar embassy likes to use DHL to submit the requirements. My wife had to go back 4 times because every-time she went from the initial visit to seek the requirements, they added something new she was required to get. Firstly fingerprints were done at Camp Crame, and afterwards they didn't accept them at DHL. She had to re-do them. Then two of the documents she didn't have authenticated, they decided that they wanted them authenticated. When sending the package you need to send dollars. The Qatar website says $10. but DHL will say it is $30., ok no problem. So all in we spent about 9000.

Most likely i will be filing  complaint about the price gouge that happened when submitting this paperwork. But stopping the process and filing a complaint and waiting to get it resolved is very time consuming so we just paid it....unfortunately... We tried to submit the police clearance through LBC but they threatened to X-Ray the paperwork and if money was found, they would reject it.

thats too much. you can actually report them. DHL has a service for requesting of police clearance in qatar. all you have to do is give them the documents and $31 fee plus the authentication fee for 3k plus pesos. they will be the one who will process everything.

I think i will report them. Unfortunately we have no other options for sending the documents.

They say this because there is multiple authenticated documents in the package.

it happened to me as well. the guy in LBC told me that all documents are to be screened in their xray and if they found out that there's money inside they will get the money. same rule applies to DHL and fedex. no money inside the documents. i dont have a choice but to request the police clearance  in DHL which will took 2-3mos :(

But DHL is letting her send the money, for $7700

When you send the package don't declare their is cash in the envelope. Many have done this after getting turned away and had no problems. Remember your mileage may vary.

They search the package, they won't let her send it without looking through it.

edit: correction to my title it should say DHL instead of FEDEX

  10. My wife went to mail off her forms for the police clearance to Qatar. LBC would not accept her package because it had money in it ($10.). This is understandable and she was able to hide it without anyone seeing it. She then went over to the Fedex and they wanted 7700php to mail it! They want to see the documents she was sending and look through everything.

My question is, can you not mail a package without someone going through it, or is this commonplace in the Philippines? Also 7700php is an astronomical fee, am I right?

I included the NOA2, NVC Letter, marriage certificate, HKID, fingerprints taken at NBI, HKD220 Bank draft among other forms and documents stated in the HKPolice Website

    .........

  12. Manila interview is in the near future. I think we made a big mistake on this.. My wife got her fingerprint sundry and was about to send out her police clearances in her married name. Our case is at NVC but not scanned yet (no letter) , so we were trying to be one step ahead.

Her fingerprints and police clearance(s) need to be in her maiden name correct?

This is for Qatar and Hong Kong. We are aware that for Hong Kong we need the letter from the embassy before we can send away. However for Qatar it is not needed.

I am not trying to jump on you at all so don't take it like that. That's what I tried to say yesterday is that they is not a company that does that for you unfortunately or else people would be using them. My own wife had to travel from Davao City to Manila in order send in that documentation only for us to find out it will take 8-12 weeks to get it back. Luckily her former employer got it for her and sent it to the Philippines for us to use at the interview.

It is very easy to misunderstand what the embassy is trying to say and that is why we are here to help. We will lead you in the direction to go and tell you what you need to do,  but I don't know of any fixers to help make it easier for you.

Again I apologize if it comes off as us jumping on you because that is not what I want to happen.

    Cheers

Thank you, same here no hard feelings..

I was not making fun of you at all I was just stating a point. Also what links do you mean and where, are they on this website or another one? We have helped many people get through the immigration struggles that is the US Embassy Manila and we will help you, but don't expect for us to do everything for you.

I asked you a clear question yesterday which you did not respond to at all. I asked you if your asawa still knows anyone in Qatar to help her get the PCC? That is what my wife did is have her former employer get it for her this is AFTER we had already done everything at the Qatari Embassy in the Philippines and getting all the documents together that we need to request the PCC from the embassy. So I know how hard it is trying to get it and how overwhelmed y'all are due to this.

It is not my job to point out the mistakes on Hank's site (again). I never expected anyone to do everything for me. Did I ask you to get in a taxi and go to the embassy? I asked a simple freaking question and the reply I get was why this or why that. No one asked for everything to be done. I simply asked for information. No I didn't reply to your question b/c what you are saying is obvious, I do know how to read the embassy's site. It was my fault as I misunderstood the post that I re-posted earlier about the girl who used wwwexpress.. My wife has to travel 7 hours in the blazing heat just to go to Manilla, excuse me if I want to make it a little easier on her.
