  1. Filed around the same time, same exact issue. I'm concerned it seems like a policy change that is not yet public whereby basically they don't want people to get 4-year extensions and instead just want people to get ADIT stamps that only last a year. Or at least they want to do additional vetting before they give 4 year extensions. Alternative would just be that USCIS staff has shrunk enough or got reassigned to other things deemed more critical so they don't have the manpower to put in whatever amount of work is needed for a cursory review of applications and sending out of receipt notices. But that doesn't feel correct as it seems like the receipt notices used to be sent more or less automatically with little if any human input.
  2. ISideWith is a great place to start and having just tried it out myself, I think you can feel good about voting based on the results it gives you. Just bear in mind though that while the results may say you most align with the views of various third-party candidates or parties, your vote will basically be wasted unless you vote for either the democratic or republican candidate option. It's a poopy situation, but that's just what it is. The one exception to this is if a ranked choice voting system is used in the election you're voting in, in which case you can vote to your heart's content, free as a bird to to pick the candidate or party who most aligns with your preferences as your number one choice, without fear that your vote won't make a difference. Personally, I'd love to see this system or something similar adopted nationally, but alas, here we are. Congratulations on your naturalization!
