I have not reviewed any letter yet but was able to confirm that they cashed my money order on April 22nd. I assume this is good news and should be getting something in the mail.

Hello, can anyone tell me, if they did get the package returned, did you sent the exact same package that they sent back to you, but just included the updated form? Or did you reprint everything and rewrite the check etc?
I just fixed what needed to be fixed then sent the same exact package back. They just received mine yesterday. So hopefully that was correct

So I re-sent our rejected application today. I guess I'm no longer a February 2021 filer..? I have a case number from the original rejected submission, does anyone know if this will continue to be the same number? It starts with EAC.
I just resent mine today as well. I would assume it would be the same number but would like to hear other opinions.

Looks like ours was rejected due to using the old edition. We had the form ready to go a while ago, should have re-checked before sending.
But taking 6 weeks to get a rejection for a form that needs to be filed in a 90-day window period is annoying. Hoping they increase that to a 120-day window if it's taking 6 weeks to just get NOA.What edition did you use ?

Question regarding filing out I-751 part 9/10. If you did not use a interpreter or attorney did you leave this blank (n/a)??
-
When When filling out part 9 and 10, if you did not use a attorney or interpreter is everyone leaving that part with N/A.??

I would make a copy of the rejection notice and add an explanation of why u r filing late (it was rejected first time and u r refiling and attach the copy of the rejection notice.) You can send the rest back as is after u corrected your mistake. Check for updated forms since u your initial filing was a month ago.
We did not use a preparer and I signed my name in that line that is why we got rejected. So should I have my husband sign that signature or leave it blank since he is the petitioner and was the one to fill out the form anyway?

Help!!! My husband is a March filer and we received his package back in the mail today as rejected bc I filled out one part incorrectly. ( I know ). They stapled a paper that we are invited to resubmit once I correct the mistake.
My question is: currently the green card he has is expired and now that we have to make the correction we are outside the window which they require to apply. Can I just correct my mistake and send it back ? They also sentback my money orders, can I just resend those as well??

Got my rejection letter & packet back! Was because credit card wouldn’t accept charge 🙄🙄 annoying! Time to resend with a check.
This happened to me today but bc I filled out a signature incorrect. They sent back my money order and package. Did you get a letter saying to fix and just resend ? My concern now is technically my green card is expired so it’s as if I’m filling late

By the way, has anyone else had this same experience? How long does it usually take to get the green card approved once the evidence is received at the field office?
I appreciate your help.
Angie.
I am in the same situation. How long did it end up taking ?

I had my K1 Visa interview last week. CO said everything looks good but I need to send in my w2 for cosponsor. I received a 221g because of this. I sent the w2 the next day and they received it. It’s been a week now. My online CEAC status went from AP to ready for interview. I’m hoping Bc I just needed a cosponsor it will be ok. Any advice or experience ??

My CEAC status online went from AP to ready for interview. Anyone have any experience with this ? I’m hoping because they only need tax documents for cosponsor it will be ok

That mean that soon they will issued the visa. Check if the status says noinmigrant, if say noinmigrant that mean that soon will say issued

When checking my status online it’s still under immigrant visa at this time

Hi! I had my K1 Visa Interview last week. I had to send my cosponsors w2 form In so I did not get a answer at the interview. They received the document today and my online status went from AP to ready today. Is this normal ?!

we were never in AP / said approved on CEAC web site the day of interview
visa was issued 5 days later and said issued on site same day
i know others go thru lengthy AP process but this is so embassy dependent
YOu are in AP for needed documents / when you submit them make sure as others will tell you to write in upper right hand corner the following
case number
both names
both DOB's
all pages must be marked like this or they may not go to the right packet
good luck
Thank you! Today I went from AP to ready on the website online so hoping I see issued soon , fingers crossed

AP is a catch-all for anything that they need to do after the actual visa application takes place (the interview). Since you got a 221g pending those documents, once they receive and process those documents, your case will resume. AP can also cover things like background checks, internal processing between the IV and NIV units (K-1s are weird...), printing of the actual visa, etc.
There's no way to know how long it will take or that they will approve the case, but this is normal and I wouldn't anticipate any troubles given the information provided. It's just a slight delay to get through the needed documents.
Ok! Thank you! I was thinking that because it’s just tax forms and I know my cosponsor makes enough money that we should be fine. It’s not like they don’t think our relationship was real or anything. That was the only document needed. And if they had something to deny us about they would have at the interview.

Hi all! I had my interview last Thursday for K1 Visa. The interview went well the officer said that everything looked good but needed to send in my co sponsors birth certificate and w2. They received my documents today dec 1st. I am on administrative processing I’m guessing because the missing documents. Does anyone have experience with this ? If the co sponsor has sufficient funds should we get approved ?!
