I called NVC again today. The rep just said "we have your case since March 12th. We're working on creating you a case #. Anything else, ma'am?". I'm just anxious to give them my and my fiance's email address, cause I'm not sure they have it. I should be patient, but I'm thinking about calling again later on tonight hahaha

I just called nvc twice. First time I hit option 7 and a very polite lady told me that my case was already in their newer system and that I should hang up and call again and hit option 5. I thought I would receive my case # already but then I called and hit option 5, another lady said they had not assigned a case # for me and it could take up to 2 weeks. I asked her if I could give her mine or my fiance's email address and she said not yet because she didn't have access, cause I didn't have a case #....well, I'm happy it is finally there. I hope it won't take long for them to assign a case number and send it to the consulate.

I called last Friday, the rep said something like "keep in touch, we're getting your case ready soon". I just called again a minute ago and still no case number. I just hope they send it to the consulate right away. My case is at nvc for a week now. They received it last monday. I think I'm gonna try again tonight

I also have no idea what we need for medical here in Brazil. We spend so much time waiting for noa2 that now everything seems overwhelming!

Oh good. They gave you your case number already! I'm gonna try to call them again later today. 

I thought we just needed the number. I've heard that some people emailed the consulate doctor in Rio when they got their interview scheduled and the doctor's secretary emailed them back with all the instructions. I was thinking about emailing the doctor's office right away hahaha. 

Oh I see. I hope you get it very soon. I don't know if we have to wait for an email to schedule the interview or the medical here in Brasil. I thought once we had the case# and it said 'ready' we were good to go.
