  1. Hi all, I am a 10-year GC holder, immigrated to the US on a fiancee visa in 2018 and looking to apply for naturalization in the fall. I was looking at the list of evidence that is needed to submit the application, and it appears that we need to submit tax returns for the past 3 years to show evidence of continued marriage. In the first year of marriage my spouse and I did not file our taxes jointly. Would that affect our chances of getting the application approved/should I wait to file until next spring when we have 3 total joint tax returns? Thanks in advance!
