So should we have received info on paying the green card fee when the interview was approved?
We don't have anything regarding that and when I checked the USCIS site it mentions we should have received numbers that we need to use to pay it.
Is it possible this comes with the visa package?
I was told after the interview that i should receive instructions via email how to pay the green card fees in the next few weeks, and that i need to pay it before we move.
I got email today from the consulate that they send the passport via courier and i should receive it in 1-2 working days, hope it is in the package..

Congrats yayyy... makes me hopeful for my husband. Let me know how long it takes to get the DHL package.

We have family that will be hosting us there (Thank goodness !) We have the interview at 10:15 a.m. not so early and i doubt we will want to have breakfast before going in. I pray for it goes well for him also, and your husband. I am praying we both get the packages by that Friday, I saw that they were having system problems last month and it delayed a lot of people here on VJ... let's also pray that is over with now !
@Laura-A.... Yes let us know !

Did you have any problems with domicile since you both live abroad? How did you meet up to the criteria?
No, my wife was born and lived most her life in the U.S, she is only away for about 4 years now.
She still maintains bank account, car insurance and registration, etc.

It was really quick, About 2 hours, most of which is just sitting and waiting, interview itself was about 5 minutes.
They asked how we met, where we live, where we work and where we going to stay in the U.S as we both live together abroad.
They took the passport and said all good and i'm approved and that i will receive the passport back with a courier within 2 weeks.

congratulation. when was your CC?
Not really CC, because we were expedited.
But our case SD at NVC was November 6th and the same day they approved our Expedite.
Case was received at our consulate on November 13th.

See if you can get it expedited through the USCIS. Tell them that you need to return to the US to work and would be unable to support two separate households. Say that waiting would cause severe financial stress in your family. I dont know if it would help but financial difficulties are one of the expedite criteria.

call nvc that mean you got an interview and your case is sent to your embassy
I should clarify, our case was expedited so the NVC sent the case directly to the consulate without processing.

Hello, what was your reason for expedite? I need some help in this regard
Mostly health issues of the US citizen, backed up by doctors recommendation to move back to the states, as we live abroad together.

what was your reason for expediting, if you don't mind me asking?
It was mostly medical condition of the petitioner, history and doctors recomondation to move back to the states, we both live abroad.

I just called the NVC today, SD was yesterday but also was approved for expedited, they are about to send the documents to my consulate this week, how long usually does it takes until the interview will be scheduled?
-
Yesterday we got an Email from NVC saying :
"The U.S. Embassy Consulate General has accepted this case for expedited processing. This file will be immediately forwarded to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General."
So of course i'm relieved and happy, but i have a question,
I sent the NVC the AOS and IV package only 3 days ago, i don't think they even scanned it yet, will they send the package to my consulate or will i need to bring all my AOS and IV package to the consulate ?
And should i bother calling NVC about SD or anything else or just wait for the interview to be scheduled?
Thanks

Soooo, got me Expedited approved today!!!
So funny that i have sent the request for expedite to NVC 3 days ago, same day i sent the AOS and IV package in mail, and they didn't even received it and scanned it yet...
