My man called NVC at Friday (17 days after approval ) to ask for our number. The woman he talked to, was very rude and told him that he shouldn't called, he should follow the instruction on approval letter and don't contact them if it wasn't 30 days yet. Also that he actually shouldn't call at all, that he will get the letter. .. Unbelievable!

So he called again after hour and got hold on different person and she was supper sweet and give him our number and congratulates us  ( Btw. it's Ready at the embassy since Thursday ).

He needs to sign the tax return when he files (even if digital signature).  If he never had a tax return he may have some serious challenges ahead.  He can get copies of tax transcripts from the IRS.  My guess is he filed but didn't realize that what he filed was the 1040.

The company he works for do the taxes for him I think... So he can call ( or apply ) to get  1040 history at IRS ?

For the interview, do I need form 1040 ? Or the last 10 paychecks, W2 for past 3 years and letter form employer + bank statements are enough ? My man says he never had 1040 ( even doesn't know what it is  )..

May 5th filler here! Waiting for NO2.  I have a question.  I have been an Au Pair in US for two years, do I need to bring the  criminal record from US to the Embassy ? ( as they require criminal record from countries you lived in for more then 6 months ) I'm 99% positive I don't need that as they do the background check in US, but just want to be 100% sure

We have been thinking about wedding on the Hawaii, and my question is, if its possible to get first to the USA on K1 and then fly to Hawaii to get married after few weeks. I know that Hawaii is also US, but want to be 100% sure I will not have to go trough the immigration again on the way back ( because K1 is good for one entry )

Somebody who has experience with that ?
