I am more nervous than excited lol, I'm excited for everyone else though. It's the 16th March.
That’s exactly how I feel as well.
I think I am more nervous for my medical than I am for the interview xx

OP is adjusting status.
Ahh I did read that , I was wondering from what visa type he may be adjusting from:) I’m really new to learning about AoS!! Sorry

what is your current immigration status in the U.S - i.e. by what means did you enter the U.S?
Edit - only asking because I was on ESTA for 81 days and didn’t receive any correspondence like this 0,o

Longest I've been is 8 weeks that was last November to Jan, we call it our trial run 😂 I've been there 6 times in total and he has been here once. We only officially got together in Feb last year and in that year I went 3 times total of 13 weeks.
wow! you got to spend Christmas there!
I haven't had the opportunity to spend Christmas in the U.S yet:) I've mainly been in the summer. I started visiting in March 2016. Does he like it here? my partner would rather live here but he's in the military so he doesn't have that option ahaha:).. i was surprised just how many differences we have in our countries but love it all the same

Ahhh it's so exciting isn't it 😁 I gave my leaving date at work for the 28th April.
I know the folder just gets bigger and bigger doesn't it lol.
What's the longest you've stayed out There?
2 and half months in California, I visited there another 3 times at about 3 weeks each time. I haven't been to Nebraska yet because my fiance has only recently been stationed there but he's been here about 6 times to England. How about you??:) & I haven't given them a date yet, I'm going to wait until after my interview

I printed it off today to go through it, lots of evidence again 🤔
I'm hoping first week in April or 2nd week, I've planned to move there the first week in may (No flights booked) but wedding is planned for the 16th June.
When are you going?
Aaahhh exciting!! I'm thinking of going in mid May and hopefully get married around the same time as you- I'm just kinda going with the flow of things atm and seeing how everything plans out on its own accord.
I haven't done anything with my brown envelope.. I don't think we have to do anything with it, or at least it seemed that way from reading it :O. I have a big ring binder with all of my visa stuffs in, so I'll probably keep it in there in case I need it for in the future though! -

Amazing thank you:) created my account ready for next week. Have you seen the AOS form yet?? Just a small 18 page booklet 😧😧
!!! I need to have a research on this 👀 I haven’t looked too far in to it atm... eeeek..
When do you you think you’ll want your interview? Like date wise? Xx

Create an account on here, pick the option about getting a letter regarding K1 to book an interview and then it'll just ask you some basic questions. Then you pay the fee, arrange courier service for your visa and you can have a look at the dates available for interview and pick one
(as far as I remember) but the process was fairly simple and it directs you all the way through x -

Have you booked your interview yet?
Yea it’s on 29th March, how about you? X

Has anyone had any issues paying the fee online? We’ve tried today and it keeps saying ‘credit card declined’. We’ve checked with our banks and there is nothing wrong with the cards.
I read that non-immigrant visas can only be paid by debit card on the embassy website so that might be the issue, if you're using credit card? Xx
Edit - I hope it's sorted for you now / I didn't check that the post was 22hrs oldsorry!!

@Lfx hey I seen in another thread you booked your interview for the 29th March, awesome!! But please dont tell me that all the other appointments in between were taken and thats all that was left to be taken, but that you booked that one out of preference? Still banking on one of those middle dates you posted the other day haha
Also do you have any idea how long it takes between getting your NVC case number and being "ready" to book the interview?I chose the 29th March so don’t worry hehe
it was just easier to book off work & means a long weekend for me
. I imagine all those other dates will still be fairly free! And it took mine about 9 days but that’s because it was in “transit” for a week. It seems from talking to others that this has actually sped right up. So who knows
the process seems to be much faster once the # has been assigned

Yeah same just want the process to be over. It's gone so fast since the NOA2 mines been 2 weeks and 6 days.
Aww how did you both meet? Where are you from in England? I'm in Essex thankfully I don't have to travel far for medical and interview as I'm on the underground. I'll be moving to North Carolina
We played games online together, were best of friends and it was pretty much a done deal when we met each other for the first time:) how about you? And I’m from a little bit further up North.. lol in Yorkshire, it’s 2-3 hrs on the train for me and a little bit expensive 😦

Thank you. Same for you too. I'm gonna submit the DS160 next week and book the interview for the first week in April hopefully. I'm not in a rush as I plan on POE first week in may
Same here! I’m not in a rush either (: I’m planning on end of May cause my fiancé is sorting out base housing for us since he’s in the military 😄 I’m just getting mine out of the way so I can plan ahead for everything, which state will you be going to? I’m going to Nebraska

@Lfx so did you guys purposely wait a week or so after your nvc number came to book a medical? As soon as i get that number ill be booking! hopefully those appointments on the 13th/14th will still be available! do you know if thats all they offer or do they open up any more? It doesnt seem like theres an awful lot of options considering the amount of applications.
I waited a week whilst my police certificate arrived (they ask you if you have it whilst attempting to book medical) & I was just waiting for extra documents from my partner & my GP. Not sure if they open extra appointments but might be worth asking them if they have any cancellations to call you? :0. They were super nice on the phone.

@Lfx thanks for the info on those things.. unfortunately i havent got my nvc case number as were only approved thursday past so ill have to wait to book an appointment until i get that.. Those early March ones are ideal but i imagine by the time I get my nvc number they will be taken.. Glad to see there are still several interview appointments left over March..
Oh yeah sorry:( we got approved on the 23rd Jan and we got our NVC number on the 31st Jan, they emailed us the letter confirming NVC number a day later.. then it went to Embassy so who knows (: you might have the number soon to book the medical:)
What is needed for the knightsbridge medical/embassy interview?
in United Kingdom
Posted
Hi,
Knightsbridge send you an email after booking medical which states all documents you need to bring.
Re medical records, the email says:
'Summary of your medical history from your GP (NOT full medical records) & reports covering any medical conditions, disabilities, and prior serious illnesses you have been treated for or anything ongoing. This has been a requirement since March 2017 and may not be on the US Embassy London website.'
It finishes by saying 'ask your GP for a Patient summary/Care summary.'
Hope this helps a little:)
