I did get a email from USCIS asking me to fax the offer letter and I did it and still nothing. It's been more than a week that i faxed the document. Anyways today is 121st day !!!!
Any progress on your end ?
Nothing since faxing them the evidence
I thought I read that they have five days to make a decision on the expedite after getting the evidence???? Or maybe it was just someone else’s experience...

What?! How on earth did I️ miss this very active August filer forum?!
Anyhow, waiting on EAD, expedite was filed last week. Sent them the requested proof... I️ literally check my email all through the night and wee hours of the morning.
Is is anyone else AOS from VWP? Just want to compare timelines/develop conspiracy theories about what’s going on with our cases 🙃.
Congrats on all of the approvals folks!!!

You should have involved your congressman/woman as soon as you crossed 90 days. Anyways go to https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative and enter your zip code and once you see your rep..click on his/her name and then scroll down completely for their contact details.
I am on 108 days and already raised 1 SR and 1 expedite request recently based on a job offer letter. I have also involved the local congressman recently and on Wednesday (Nov 22nd) he has sent in an enquiry and waiting for USCIS to reply him. I guess the reply will come by next monday or tuesday.
Any update on your expedite? I’m in the same boat as you - did an SR at 90 days and did an expedite last week. The we’re quick to respond with the request for evidence but now it’s the 4th day since sending it and nothing from them yet....

Roll call of people who haven’t gotten their EAD/AP? Feeling so sad/concerned. We filed on 8/15, they received it a few days later. And we haven’t heard a peep from them....
Anyone else? It’s really wearing on us.... 😪

😬 checks mailbox again, maybe mine got lodged in a crevice and I️ didn’t see it 😜. Nice to see all of the cards arriving, hoping ours comes soon.

90 days since filing.... about a week from 90 days of NOA. Crossing my fingers, toes,
eyes, arms and anything else in hopes that we get some good news this week. Happy Monday, folks!

Can we file a sr based on this processing time ?
We filed ours based on the 75 day "rule" - we read that after 75 days you could file an SR; however, it hasn't proven to be super helpful yet. If the new processing times are what they posted then I say file it... it's past their posted processing time so it's fair.

We filed an SR on our EAD and got the "it hasn't been assigned" response. I swear this is tough - very hard on my husband to not be able to work or drive... But I do stalk the July forum and so many of them have gotten theirs, so it's just around the corner for us.

Alright guys, wishing us all a week of scheduled interviews, EADs and other good news! Congrats to the early birds in the group (it gives us hope that we’re getting closer and closer).

This is great, starting to see some real movement! The EADs are rolling in pretty steadily for the July filers and with some of you having interview dates now seems like there’s going to be a lot of activity for us very soon. Thank goodness because my husband is going mad - let this man work, lol!

So you are doing what? You came to the US and got married than applied for I-485? What are you adjusting from?
Whoops!! I didn’t see this until now! We are adjusting from VWP. I lived in Germany for three years, where I met and dated my now husband. After three months of me being back in the states, he came for what was supposed to be a two week visit followed by a trip with his family to the Philippines. Instead, he canceled his trip, stayed longer and we got married! Now we’re anxiously awaiting our AOS results. The nerve wrecking part of adjusting from VWP is that you cannot appeal if you get denied. 😬😬😬

Oh man, I can only imagine your frustration. I also got an RFE but I only filed in August. Apparently it’s 90-120 days on average right now, add to that an RFE.... I wish I had an answer for you. So after 90 days you requested service on it and they told you to wait another month? Is that correct? From what I’ve read, your case is sort of paused until you respond to the RFE. Did it take you a while to respond? Wishing you well.

Still your case got adjucated pretty quick
!
That's a good way to see it
. I got the RFE in the mail. We need to do an i130a (I didn't even know about this addendum to the i130) and they also wanted my work contract which I stupidly left out of the original submission. Not bad at all. Sending it back tomorrow!

😭😭😭 just checked online and an RFE was sent our way today. I'm so sad!! Was hoping for smooth sailing. Have to wait for the letter to know what they want. A bit disappointed. What could it possibly be???

coollll.... but when was the actual biometrics appointment date? and i got my biometrics appointment tomorrow
Original was for 15th, so he was about a week early.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all well. I just wanted to let you know that my husband decided to do a walk-in Biometrics appointment today and it was quick and easy, only took 15 min. I don't know if that helps move things along at all (I hope sooo), but he just happened to be passing by it today and figured why not. Just an FYI. Best of wishes to everyone!!
PS. My husband thinks its funny and sort of sweet that when he told me he did that I was like, "OMG - I have to tell the group" lol.
-
Wow! Just got Biometrics letter in the mail, the day after NOA. Scheduled for exactly two weeks later. Feeling a bit better now.

Woohoo, got NOA in the mail! Now I'll continue waiting lol. Filed 15 Aug from California.

Fellow August filer here. Was freaking out because I sent mine on 15 Aug and haven't received NOA yet. But feeling a bit better since I'm not the only one. I'm crossing my fingers for a quick EAD. My husband is going to go insane, the process is quite tough.
Best wishes everyone!!

Special K, sorry to post and run - it got quite busy around here. He ended up having to pay a hefty fee and he has a certain amount of time to renounce his Pakistani citizenship. They did say that nothing goes on his police record for this, which is great. Still quite a scare and I'll still be holding my breath until he gets his visa...

Hello All,
Just getting started in our VJ (planning in filing later this month) but suddenly a wrench has been thrown in the mix. I'll try to make this short:
My fiancé is born and raised in Berlin Germany, German citizen but both of his parents are from Pakistan and got him Pakistani citizenship when he was a child. He's only been there once when he was a baby and doesn't even have a Pakistani passport.
He's supposed to visit me in a couple weeks and requested ESTA visit online and got it. One of the questions asked if he ever had a passport from another country. Because he didn't have the Pakistani passport for many years, he went to the embassy to find out what the passport number for it was so he could put it on the application. I guess this flagged something because about a month later the German version of ICE came banging on his door in the early morning and took him into custody.
He's in trouble because you cannot have both Pakistani and German citizenship (there are many countries that Germany does allow to have dual citizenship but Pakistan is not one of them). Apparently, when he was 23 he should have chosen which citizenship he wanted (I believe that's the current law, I know it changed relatively recently).
Anyway, all will be resolved but he was in custody for 4 days. Now I'm freaking out that this will cause a problem with his visa. I don't think it will cause a problem with his visit (I hope not) but I'm worried that his visa could be denied. It's not a crime of moral turpitude but seems like a big deal especially since they kept him for a few days.
I guess it's kind of a blessing in disguise. Better that we found out about this dual citizenship issue now rather than when his case got forwarded to Frankfurt and it got denied then.
Just wondering if anyone (especially in Germany) had a similar situation. Curious as to wether this will affect the visa process.
Thanks!
