Did they ever send a packet 3 or 4 ?? We havent received anything,  i asked to woman on the phone and she gave me a web address,  which i already downloaded  while looking around. She does medical next week and then interview  on 8/14

No, my fiance never got a packet either.  We just followed the direction on the net from NVC.  She did it all.  Personally, we don't know anyone recently who applied for K1 from the phils who got a packet in the mail.  They all just made appointments and such through the net.

I pressed tye number for immigrant visa then pressed 7 to speak to someone,  worked like a charm.

yup, finally got to that #7....thanks.  Now if they can just get on the ball.  129 approved, physical exam passed, and interview passed, just they didnt have all of that together the day of her interview.  A little unfair, but we all have stories.  So i wait.

You haven't seen anything yet. You still have AOS, Perm GC and then Naturalization.  We waited 1 year and 4 months for my wife's perm GC which was processed through Vermont. Those who processed through California had theirs in 6 months. Fustrated. Sure. Went through two infopass and the OB. Was about use my congress(person) but it was release so I didn't need that step.

At least you were together during the other processes, time is nothing, but time apart is our issue.

Congratulations, @Bitofanerd and @Hannah96! So happy for you!

Just checked my passport status and it says IN TRANSIT now. :) Just 2 business days since it was ISSUED. I expect to receive my visa before the week ends as I need it for my CFO seminar on the 25th.

Happy for you!!!  We are still in AP  :(  Hope it moves soon.  She passed everything.  They were waiting for medical but it has been sent too...

    Hey guys.

Did anybody else, when their CEAC status got changed to "in transit" receive the message:

"Your case is in transit to the consular section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Centre".

Am i correct in saying this doesn't apply to us K1 filers, as we are supposed to book our own interview date?

    Thanks :)

It always says that as far as I have seen, and yes you book your own date.  That is just a standard canned message.

I forgot to mention that the consul did not even look at any of the documents I brought other than the DS160. Didn't ask for photos. Not even the Affidavit of Support or a Certificate of Employment from Delta (since my fiance just started working there). I brought a clearbook as thick as a 500-page textbook and she didn't even look at it. :P

So Happy For You.  Now get moving almost time to go :)  Hoping will will see the ISSUED message soon.

It's 11:35 pm and I gotta get ready for my 6:40 am interview in a few hours. How do I sleep? I know I have everything they'll need from me and more. I know I can answer their questions, but I am still a nervous wreck.

    The unknown is very scary.

You will be fine.  This part my fiance had no trouble with the interview.  Just the basic questions.  You will make it easy.  ;)   (of course now we are just waiting for them to get the medical report they should have already gotten)

    Hello,

    Congratulations,

we were we're also approved on 6/30 how have not received my visa , have you already received yours?

Seems  like it's taking forever , I remember reading the visa printing was down . Have u also heard that ?

Ours was on 7/7 so we are still waiting, hoping to see a change by friday.   Did you check CEAC for status?  Maybe you meant to quote lara h.?

I brought the medical with me. I think she should do that.. during the medical, they gave me an envelope which they will open on the day of the interview :) so maybe, she has to check again?

I went over that with her beforehand, as she had a referral before she could get her immunizations.  (dermatology??)  They said they would forward the exam.  I told her not to trust that, but she did.  Anyway, supposedly it will get resolved soon. No requests for anything else given.  I will let you know..  Again congrats on your incoming visa.

My noa1 date has a correct date of birth.. Even the forms i sent them. :(( The csr told me that I shouldn't worry because the process will still continue.. it's just the system has the wrong info..

I understand the frustration.   It took me about a week after the nvc received online for me to get the hard copy in the mail.

Good luck and try not to stress.....altho I do so constantly until she is here ;)

Thank you!! Hope she got it! ❤️

Thank you.  Well, as usual we always get a hiccup.   She passed the interview and her paperwork she brought was fine. BUT, they had not received her I129F (which I called NVC and they said embassy has had it since 6/9 and they just can't find it, probably the new electronic file) and the medical they did not have.  The consular just told her needed the medical and that everything seemed ok.  So, I guess I wait for Administrative Process to change....  As usual making us crazy again, but I have faith and we did everything by the book.

Hi.  I was wondering how I should answer the DS-160 regarding the vaccination info.  I didn't have vax when I was a kid.  Well, at least I can't find any baby book.  I asked my parents if I had vaccinations but they both don't remember so I assume I don't.  Anyway, on the DS-160, there's a question there regarding having the vaccinations that the US required.  I would normally say no, because I don't (probably) have any.  But I know that the medical check-up includes all vaccinations that you have missed, meaning the clinic will vaccinate you on the spot if you don't have any vaccinations.  So is it but right to just answer Yes on the form, instead of No?  Or do I just answer No and put in an explanation?  Thanks for the advise.

On the question about having immunization documentation at the interview, my fiance said yes, as she was going to get them at the medical.  And she got them at the medical so she has the documentation before her interview.  Not sure if that helps you.
