Just an update: 
I got my embassy change request approved yesterday (sent the e-mail on March 15) NVC is taking exactly 14 days to respond to emails (I sent another one on March 14 n they responded on March 28). 
I am a non-pivot case now (1 Agent said it is still Pivot n she didnt know what she was talking about). I called a second time to confirm if it was still pivot as multiple agents had said Mumbai is not Pivot and got through to an agent I had spoken to before who was very helpful the previous time and she remembered me too. She said it looks like it is pivot and I thanked her and hung up and a half hour later she CALLED ME BACK from the nvc!!! God Bless her heart!! She called me back to tell me not to upload anything and to mail everything in. Faith in humanity and NVC restored! If any of you get through to the agent named Leah/Leya tell her she's the best!

Actually it is EP now but I need to change my consulate from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai and I sent that request. ONce they process that it will be regular processing lol I took advantage of the PIVOT part and paid both fees though

Are you a pivot case? So my case is not a pivot case as far as I know and till March 9, NVC was saying they received it on Feb 9. When I called back on March 12, they said its in the Pivot dept and now they're telling me they RECEIVED it march 12. I lost 4 weeks to God knows what. Now they're saying 8 weeks from March 12..I hope it doesnt take 10 weeks. 
You should keep calling multiple times to see if someone can tell you why it is taking so long! 
(And we thought the USCIS wait was bad!)

They've been very rude lately!! I dont understand how they can be so heartless...first of all it goes from 2 weeks to 8 weeks...then they mess up stuff and just say I can't give you an answer you're gonna have to email us...three emails later I am still waiting for an answer as to how the heck my case ended up in EP!

No My case WAS received by NVC on Feb 9. Like 20 different agents told me so for the past one month. I had just been waiting for my case number and out of the blue my peition ends up in EP like a pivot case but neither one of the embassies I am requesting does EP. It is a bizzare situation and they have no answers for me yet. Major screw up by someone at NVC basically. Now in their electronic system is says that they JUST got my petition on March 12! Ridiculous

So I have been waiting for a case number since Feb 9. By Feb 23rd (the two week mark), NVC escalated it to a supervisor. I called last night and the first person I got on the phone said, your case has been created but it is in the "new database" and asked me to hang up and call back and select option 5 from the menu ( I had been selecting option 7). I follow those instructions and call back and this lady picks up the phone and says, "I can confirm that NVC has received this case today and it will take two weeks to generate a case number" ?!?!@?! I am trying to remain calm at this point and told them no, my case has been in NVC since Feb 9 and it was escalated to a supervisor on Feb 23. They asked me who said that. I said the NVC agents I have been speaking to. So she put me on hold and came back and said that she is guessing that when my case was escalated it was put into electronic processing which is good. So I said as far as I know the consulate I am applying for initially is not doing electronic processing and also that I was going to request for a consulate change anyway to the mumbai consulate because it is faster than abu dhabi and my husband is an indian national. So she said I should email asknvc@state.gov with all that info to request for a change in embassy. I told her I have been told several times that I have to wait for a case number to be generated before I could request for a change in consulate. she said since the case is going to be created for electronic processing, I should do this now before it goes through. I was going to call back today  and find out more info (I already sent in the change request) but the NVC is closed. She said this is the second "bizzare" call they are getting. Who the hell is doing this? Is abu dhabi doing EP? Why would they put my case to EP if neither embassies are doing EP? What the hell are they doing there? Any advice on how I should proceed? 

I got the same email back lol ugh..Im so over this wait...theres another snowstorm heading this way tomorrow ..more wait?

Yeah I saw the officiaL announcement yesterday...I am really hoping it doesn't delay interviews further!! This is so devastating..one after the other..first nvc is backed up and I don't even have a case number and now this...I dont know what to do

My NOA2 was Jan 4 too! but it was sent to NVC on Feb 1 and they received it Feb 9th...no case # yet..I really hope I get it by this Friday!!

I know a lot of people mentioned counselling on here. I am a newly married myself and if I was having any of the problems you mentioned here I would be making an appointment with a counsellor and dragging my husband along with me. Based on what you said about her, like someone else mentioned here, she sounds like she could be suffering from depression (you went from having sex when you used to visit her to not having it later) -if she didn't hesitate to have sex before and is showing a lower libido there might be an underlying medical issues such as depression or hormonal problems- just to err on the side of caution, I would keep these in mind. A few questions:
Was this an arranged marriage or something?
Is she otherwise active on facebook? Does she wear other jewelry?
I ask because this is common in Indian arranged marriages sometimes that the other half marries to come here (have heard a lot of stories like the ones mentioned in the post). If she is not active on facebook I would not worry about the whole facebook thing. I know several inactive people never putting anything personal up on facebook.
And about the jewelry thing-I am newly married- I hate wearing anything except earrings- that is just a personal preference. In my culture we have to wear this necklace with "Minnu" that signifies you are married and our rings- I alwayss forget because I was never used to wearing a necklace or a ring but my husband I know wears them everyday to work.
I would not stress on the last name thing either. It should always be a woman's choice. For her, she left all that she had to come live here with you so she might want to hold on to her last name till she is ready. Like someone else asked- how many times have you seen her before you got married? Was there truly time to build a connection? 
All these things should be talked over in counselling- maybe she expresses her love in a different way. Maybe there truly are problems for both of you. It is a good sign that you are venting, albeit in a forum- talk to her. Is it cultural differences, lifestyle changes? Why is she not happy here? These are things worth exploring before you conclude on your decision to divorce. Plus any good divorce lawyer would ask you if you tried counselling first.
