Hi!!! Congratulations!!! I am too.. i got my 10yr green card... my SSCard also have that “valid for work only with DHS Authorization”... just want to ask if u need to get an appointment at the SSS and what documents or requirements you brought.? Thanks.

Guys... i have a question for N400 evidence... do i really need to have the tax copies/transcripts from the IRS site? We did ours with turbo tax and we already have all copies saved... can i just use that?

I submitted my ROC application to VSC on May 8, 2017 and it was received on May 12, 2017. According to my case history, filing fee was waved on May 26, 2017. On Feb 25, 2018, i was notified that my case was received (my guess was my application was transferred to another department) then another notification on Feb 26, 2018 (same message) (my guess again was it was transfered again to another dept on the same location)... then a few movements on my case by the last week of March (transferred to my local office) then again April 9, 2018 (received by local office and or still reviewing my case) It was the last notification then today (June 7, 2018) my card is being produced 😊

BTW, im living in Maryland so my local office would be Baltimore Field Office

Hi everyone!!! I received a great news today and want to share with all of you that my new card is being produced... i found out through case tracker when they notified me... with everything that’s going on and a lot of people that are getting their approvals, i was somehow sad... but now i am not!!! The path to citizenship is next!!! Goodluck to all May 2017 filers who hasnt receive any response yet... you will be next i am sure of that!!! 😊

Is there a way to print out utility bills from months ago? We don't think it's possible but we thought we'd ask and maybe have a friend who introduced us, my family and his family write letters saying we are legit. We have bank statements, jackson bills, an old comcast bill (just 1), lease agreement, an old life insurance policy i had with him as a beneficiary but they spelt his name wrong though his first name and date of birth is correct, i have him on my current life insurance policy at work (waiting for tomorrow to get a copy), car insurance, our flight for july this year in vegas, our hotel room, and letters from our lawyer addressing us from when my husband was involved in an accident. Is this enough? I admit that the first time we didn't give them enough information so here we are..

Any tips will be appreciated. I think i really wouldn't mind if they came to our house just so they could see that we are legit!.

Hi! Do u have a combined bank account or credit card with one of u have a supplementary card? Just like us every month we receive a statement with both our names... if u have paperless, just go to your online banking account and print the last 6 months statements... i also print out our current combined phone bills both my number and his number are in one account... hope this will help

We were just in DC and we spend the night last Sunday...Just find a parking garage (spot hero) near where ur embassy at and never have a problem worrying about finding a parking space and changing quarters... georgetown is a short cab or metro ride.. or if ur up to it walking is good too ☺️

Yes the informations are different... USCIS are not really giving us a definite answer... they let us just guess what’s up with our applications... i wont be worrying about it coz they will definitely send us a notification of any action taken or changes or interviews etc etc... never the less... if some people from April 2017 were already approved then most probably we are gonna be next... just keeping a positive attitude and being patient with it (btw... on march 25, will check if i am eligible to apply my n-400, that is when my window opens -90 days before my 3rd yr anniv of my green card was issued)

Also a quick update and its not a good news but I called USCIS just now to check my case status. The representative said that there was a glitch in the systems and the statuses of hundreds of cases all across said transferred to local offices but it is not the case as the cases are still being processed in VSC. Right now they are working through Jan23 2017 cases. So a bummer! 

 

I almost got excited but I can wait more that's fine. 😊

Thanks for the additional updates... either way... its just a waiting game for everybody we just hope that all of us will be approved very soon 😊

@VeraBradley sorry to confuse u but i wasnt approved yet im still waiting for my 10yr gc approval...  i was talking about my I-485 change of status (conditional green card)... it was also transferred from the service center to the local office (which is baltimore for me since i am living in maryland) before i got approved for that...  so i guess there is nothing wrong with our applications being transferred... i am glad uscis is telling us where our applications are at so that if anyone wants to follow up then they know which office to call... but for me its just a matter of time and waiting... goodluck to all!!!!

As far as i remember, my conditional application was also forwarded to the local office before i was approved... i guess its really their process now to send applications to local offices to lessen the volume of applications received (CSC & VSC) and be approved on time before our extentions expires... i am hoping and crossing my fingers we all get approval soon coz my husband and i want to travel to europe this summer but i told him i dont want to stress out with my visa so we postpone all travels outside the country until i get my 10yr gc... goodluck to everyone!!!
