Same here. It’s been a little over a year now. Filed requests and had an Infopass visit. We were told that due to change of address which happened half a year ago they waiting for an opening for the interview.
Is there any other way to hurry it up?
Our lives have been in limbo for this whole year and nothing seems to be done. Just wait.
how are you guys, those who waiting still, holding up?
    A week.

So after being upset about the medical exams which we had to do again because the process has been so slow, we go them done with Dr. who charged a more reasonable fee than most we could find ($281, here in the Austin area).  So, $562 plus our $40 in copays for the shots & TB tests.  $602 more down the pipe.  We sent the I-683 in on Monday via Fedex which delivered them the following day to the San Antonio office.  Wednesday (yesterday) I received a call directly from the officer that was processing our applications.  He said he had just approved Rebeka's but that he didn't have our step-daughter's I-683.  I explained that we sent them in two separate envelopes because they were two separate RFEs.  He said he would track down our step daughter's I-683 and would "probably approve" her as well.  So here's hoping.  He said Rebeka should have her green card in 7-10 business days.

So we didn't get sent to the back of the line.  We hopefully will be done for 2 years.  Then we start up all over again.

My interview is scheduled on the 21st this month. They updated my case online yesterday and it says “document was mailed to you”. Anyone knows what document it could be? We already received the interview notice a few weeks ago so I thought it was weird.

Hi Guys! Just wanted to update you all. We had our interview at the NYC office this morning was scheduled for an 11:25 interview. We weren't seen  until 1:30. I thought the officer didn't really show any emotion so it was hard to get a read and she was confused as to why we haven't traveled together yet, but after showing her all of our evidence and photos she told us we she was going to approve us pending any inconsistencies from the standard background check! So happy to almost be done

Had my interview today in the NYC field office. Brought an abundance of documentation (including weird stuff like a pet adoption contract from 2015 with both our names on it) and our 4mo daughter, so the interview was a breeze. The interviewer was very personable and courteous, which was a relief as I had spent days stressing and obsessing over every little detail, and trying to get my wife to remember dates and names of relatives, both of which she's pretty terrible at.

The only caveat was that since we had been married only 1.5 years at the time of filing (we married 06/2015, I filed for AOS 03/2017), my green card will end up being conditional permanent residence, valid only for 2 years. In 2 years, I need to petition to get those conditions removed. Not that it's a big deal, but after 3 H-1Bs and now this process in 6 years, I was hoping to finally have dealing with immigration over and done with.

I guess I still have one more time around the block to do.

Our interview lasted about 45 minutes and the interviewer was very calm. They asked many questions from the applications, the original forms were right in front of them, such as addresses, parents' names, etc. The only questions that surprised us were about his hometown and name, as they are very significant for his country and religion. We explained he is no longer religious and neither am I, which is something that drew us closer together. I recommend being over prepared with documents - we had a huge bag filled with documentation from our AOS application, wedding album, new evidence after marriage, etc and they seemed impressed.

They asked for our additional evidence and I handed them a stack of labeled papers including financial information, photos, etc but they didn't look at any of it except a Christmas card from my parents that included our marriage announcement on it. I suggest bringing evidence of your intertwined lives such as mail sent to both of you at an address, family greeting cards, etc.

We were approved on the spot after the interview and given a paper! Our online case status updated a couple of hours later.

Due to a travel emergency we got the green card stamp in my husband's passport after the interview in the Infopass area and are traveling to see his family on Thursday!! This was a many hours long ordeal however and not something anyone can do right after the interview. But it is possible.

    Hey everyone!
I just found out that my EAD card is being produced!! I'm on day 92. I expedited my request through my local congressman office. If you haven't received your card within 90days I highly recommend that you contact your congressman's office :).

Hope you all get yours soon!!

Based on my stalking of everyone else's timeline and my experience, 2-3 workdays for status change, and 3-5 days for delivery

I agree with @sherifkay... My husband is my main sponsor and I don't have any co-sponsor, but 5 working days after my expedition request, my case was approved

Submit a request to expedite and use the reason "financial loss" (not financial hardship), ask the congressman/congresswoman or senator of your district for help, and see what happens. The worst they can do is to process your case in the normal timeline...

That is not true. My expedite request was accepted, and I have no co-sponsor. It all depends on your reason for expediting, and the call center representative that attends to you.

Hi everyone, after months of waiting, the status for EAD application finally changed! I thank everyone who's helped me through and comforted me when I was at my lowest. I know this is only just half of the battle but atleast I'm getting somewhere  I can finally work and keep myself busy and helpful altogether.

To those who have not received their ead's or not have any positive developments as of yet, I know waiting can be discouraging and awfully frustrating. It's really difficult for me to say that you just cheer up and keep your head high because doing that has been very difficult for me. I was always on the verge of breaking down until my status change.   Just remember it will come, and when it comes it will be fulfilling and that moment will be priceless. Also, you can try to email your congressmen and senators to ask for assistance. You can also send service requests as often and as much as you can. That's what I did, I don't know if that's what brought me here, but it wont hurt to try

    My timeline:

    AOS/EAD/AP sent: 03/03/2017
    Received (PD): 3/07/2017
    NOA1: 3/14/2017
    BIOS: 4/12/2017
    EAD approval: 6/19/2017

    Location: Dallas, TX
